Shameela Keshavjee

She is extremely professional and incredibly intelligent and insightful. If you or your husband isn’t interested in therapy because you think you are smarter than the therapist- you haven’t seen Shameela. Therapy requires full participation and the belief that it can work if you put enough into it and that is true. Shameela saved my marriage- full stop- and it was BAD. But my husband and I were dedicated to therapy, being honest and open in therapy, and staying together for the kids. Now we are together because we want to be. Shameela is sharp, forgets nothing, and is always prepared for the visit. I highly recommend her.

Shameela is spontaneous, friendly and knows what she is doing. She really helped me process my struggles.

I dreaded the idea of counseling. The only imaginings I'd seen were on TV shows etc., and they always seemed to make the participants (at least half of them) out to be jerks. That's not what happened. My wife and I went to see Shameela a few times, and we are now connected on a much deeper level than before. She was able to point (through seemingly targeted discussion) out our anxieties and their roots, and was able to give us the tools we needed to get over those feelings, defusing issues before they became bigger. I recommend her for any problem with yourself or problem with another that you may want to sort out, not only marital issues. Don't worry about the stigmas associated with seeing someone that wants to help you figure it out. The worst thing you can do is wait until it manifests into a realized problem.
