Nikki the hygienist was very friendly and has a wonderful touch. Dr. Lauren was also very engaging and terrific. Another 5 star experience at Country Lakes Dental!

Great office, great staff, great experience. I have terrible dental anxiety (after past bad experiences w/ other providers)—and I was relaxed enough to literally fall asleep in the dentist’s chair at my most recent appointment! (Yeah, that part was mortifying, but they were super sweet about it, and my point is that I’ve never been that comfortable at the dentist’s office!) ???? Dr. Matt does GREAT work and is able to use a laser for some fillings so he doesn’t have to numb you (and I’m super sensitive to pain!). Anyway, as embarrassing as it is to admit that I’m a grown adult that fears the dentist that much, I wanted to share my experience in case it helps others. This practice has terrible administration and billing services. They will bill you for service already paid for by your insurance company and then pretend like they don't know what's going on. They also push services not covered by insurance that are priced much higher than other practices and aren't always clear about what's covered and what isn't. This office is also the only "health care" provider I saw in 2020 that was in total COVID denial. None of the front desk staff were masked or behind protective screens and Dr. Matt himself came and sat next to me unmasked to sell additional services. Country Lakes Dental has failed on every level of customer service each time I've interacted with them. They have over charged me and weren't able to explain it. Most recently, they told me they could not look up my insurance information if I knew my carrier. After about 20 minutes of me trying to create an online account with my carrier, they asked for my social so they could look up my insurance. It is clear that the hiring practices are solely based on looks and not ability to do the job. Switching dentists has been long over due. Got the VIP plan with them and they are now not open till 5 Fridays. I paid literally for no reason plus even with VIP discount service is still expensive a filling just one like $200 smh . Currently finding another dentist. Suks that i had to pay VIP i might as well have used it for the filling itself.

Dr. Matt and Macenzie we’re so helpful and kind at my appointment. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and well educated on my dental health when I left. I will definitely be coming back!

I absolutely love this practice! The staff is incredible, always helpful and extremely friendly. Dr. Matt is so thorough and gives you options and really works with you! I highly recommend checking them out. Going to the dentist doesn’t have to be a dreaded task when you find a place like this!

A very efficient office that in my experience runs on time. State of the Art equipment is available in every patient room. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Artho is a very professional dentist and is extremely competent. I highly recommend Country Lakes Family Dental.

Dr. Matt literally lightly tapped two of my teeth, told me i needed a bunch of unnecessary things, and left. He didnt even check all my teeth! Dr. Matt is an excellent dentist. He was able to fix my chipped tooth & got me in the same day that i called in. Vanessa, the dental hygienist who was working alongside with him, was super nice! She was gentle & answered any question i had. Dr. Matt does an amazing job. Overall, a great experience!

I had a super awesome experience at this office. The hygienist, Nikki, was so sweet and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr Matt was also very chill but told me to take what Nikki said seriously about my home care. I think this office has great staff and are very welcoming.

I have been a patient of Dr. Matt for a couple of years. I have had numerous dentists throughout the years, and I can say this is absolutely the best office I've been to. Dr. Matt does use state of the art technology, and also does extremely good work. Recently, I had a crown done. Because he didn't like the initial fit, he did another one right away. It was absolutely flawless and fit right in with virtually no additional sanding. I also have small children that are also extremely comfortable with him. The entire staff is very friendly. Over the course of my life I have had literally thousands of dollars of dental work done. So I know a good dentist when I see one, and no the dentist office did not ask me to write this review or offer me a gift card or anything like that. I highly recommend this office! Wonderful staff. Welcoming and knowledgeable. Helped me, - a dentaphobe, to feel comfortable. All 4 of my kids go here too.

When it comes to Dentists (or dr offices in general) I have a simple attitude. "Have High Hopes, But Low Expectations". Why? Simple. They are usually staffed by overworked under paid and (at best) fakely happy teams of admin and medical professionals who literally just want to get thru the day and have nearly zero real incentive to bring that long gone bedside manner and friendly atmosphere. HOLY SMOKIES ON A HOT BUTTERY ROLL BATMAN. Was my mind set blown away at Country Lakes Family Dental. I walked in the door at 3:50 and was greeted by a huge smile and verbal hug and "welcome" from a professional Smile inducer named "Karen". She asked me to fill out some basic paperwork (which as a guy I completely screwed up of course) and in no less than the time it took me to check a few posts on facebook she was letting me know it was time to go back and be seen. Next up in the all star roster was Pam. I don't know what you call the person at a dentist office that makes you feel like you have been hugged in a warm summer breeze while sipping a nice beverage in the arms of your true love while watching sports and a comedy show at the same time - while poking objects in your mouth and asking questions about your pain... but this was Pam. Pam made my daughter feel at ease, made me feel important (always good for a parent of a patient Right?) and honestly I didn't want to leave - seriously. By the time the DR got there I was already blown away. The Dr had a mind-blowingly honest, clear, concise and professional. Translation - While I didn't want to have to sell a kidney to pay for whatever bill I was going to get handed when I checked out - I was more than willing. Heck, God gave us two for a reason right? Fast forward a little bit (after a comprehensive treatment plan with some requested modification from me) to checkout. Imagine my stupor of thought when after scheduling my next apt for my daughter Karen informed me that my amount due was ZERO. Zero. Nadda. Nothing. Zilch. If you are reading this , I want you to understand my nearly pants soiling shock at hearing after GOLD CARD VIP FAMILY like treatment - my insurance covered 100% of all costs. Look, maybe you have a dentist now and maybe you don't. Whatever.... I don't care. You need to switch or choose Country Lakes Family Dental. These Folks are the IPhone 10. The Bees Knees. I have always had a good experience, if you can have such a thing at the dentist. I have lots of issues with past dental experiences and Dr. Artho has always been patient with me and has never hurt me. He did a dental implant, which was a 1st for both of us, and he did a FANTASTIC job. I never felt a thing and have never had an issue with the tooth.

I started seeing Dr. Matt when we moved to Lantana, but continued taking our kids to a pediatric dentist in Flower Mound. At their most recent visit, we were given some diagnoses and a treatment plan that just *seemed* a little outrageous. Took the kids to Dr. Matt today for a second opinion... and the money we're saving is literally in the THOUSANDS of dollars. Not only is he more conservative in his treatments, his prices are SIGNIFICANTLY less than the competition. Not to mention the personal time he spends with each patient, his thorough knowledge of both adult and pediatric dentistry, etc. - it's all wonderful. Top that off with a GREAT front office staff, and Dr. Matt will have our family's dental care as long as he'll have us! Thanks Dr. Matt and staff - we're so grateful!
