Dr. Cesar A Delatorre

I've been seeing Dr. de la Torre for years. He takes great care to be thorough & thoughtful with suggestions, resources, diagnoses & meds. And he has an excellent bedside manner!

I've been under the care of Dr. De la Torre now for the past five plus years due to a liver disease called NASH. Dr. De la Torre is the most passionate and caring doctor I have ever seen before. I say he's more than just a doctor but a good listening ear and certainly very easy going and he really helps alliviate all my worrys I have regarding my health issues. You might have to wait a while before seeing the doctor but the wait is certainly worth it. Thanks Dr. De la Torre.

My vital and history info was not entered correctly in the system. Prescription was sent late and incorrect. Dr highly recommended a procedure then file it to insurance company as diagnostic instead of preventative. When i followed up, he said it is bc of my age.

Yes!! I met with Dr. De laTorre this morning. He met with me at the appointed time..no waiting, was very personable, fully explained test results, acknowledged my concern regarding family history and alleviated my concerns!!

He is an amazing Doctor. Very intelligent, knowledgeable and caring. You can tell he truly cares about his patients.

I was recently a patient of Dr de la Torre while inpatient at Jefferson at Abington. Until my recent upper GI issues which needed urgent care my experience with GI docs was limited. I am blessed that I found Cesar. He was a consummate professional in every way, he explained my procedure and the reasons behind it and made me feel very comfortable. Not all physicians are ok with treating a quadriplegic but Dr was eager to know of my case and took everything I told him into account. I can’t recommend him enough and will be following up in four weeks in the clinic. Don’t let your GI issues go, make an appointment I think you won’t be sorry. This was my initial consultation with Dr. De la Torre and I was blown away by his attentiveness and compassion. Dr. De la Torre has a old-school bedside manner which is wonderful! He’s easy to talk to and you can see that he truly cares about his patients.

Dr. De la Torresdale, is a incredible human being and doctor. He’s incredibly caring and shows great understanding and compassion for every aspect of his patients that he meets with. I can’t thank Dr. De la Torre enough for helping in making an incredible change in my son. I would recommend him to anyone. He’s more than a doctor.

Very good

Dr De la Torre is kind and compassionate and he takes the time to explain everything to you. I feel very comfortable with him and I think hes a EXCELLENT GI Doctor and I highly recommend him.

Guy was sarcastic, had this humor sort of like not taking your concerns seriously, so as a preventive doctor, he is terrible. Obvious pains, and symptoms for years were downplayed like I were joking or making them up without any preventive care plan to ease worry. Like talking to a wall. From what I gather he only takes you seriously if you are already in the late stages displaying signs of black stools, or passing blood etc. Early stages/symptoms he just downplays you with his dry humor. avoid.

Great Experience.

Wonderful doctor. Helped me more then any other GI I have gone to. He listens, is very attentive & pleasant. I highly recommend.

Very good. Cordially and explain very good. Also speak Spanish my first language.

WOW ! A physician with a sense of humor. Hard to find these days...especially one that seems extremely medically competent, patient, cordial and concerned. Took the time to explain the problem, without unnecessary alarm. Took the time to work with scheduling for a stat procedure the next day with his associate. This is a large practice but this guy is worth waiting for. I am very comfortable in sincerely recommending him.

Dr de la Torre is an outstanding diagnostician and compassionate physician who demonstrates outstanding skills in his field of practice.

I can not put into words how wonderful Dr. Delatorre is. He has wonderful bedside manner, personality and really put my mind at ease. He not only answered all of my questions, but explained things in detail and spoke to me like a person. He is an phenomenal physician. Anyone who is looking for a GI physician, Dr. Delatorre is the doctor to see!

I was in the hospital with renal failure. Dr. Delatorre listened with patience and attentiveness, and his confidence and manner inspired me with confidence to meet the challenges. Incredibly knowledgeable and sensitive, I highly recommend his services. He is a good person.

Office clean-staff friendly-wait time was normal-trusted him totally-explain everything in common and understandable terms-spent necessary time explaining situation-very pleasant-would recommend him to my family

Very nice doctor and he makes you feel very comfortable. However after your test come in it's really hard to reach his office to get the results. And it's very hard to get appointments.

Dr. Delatorre is very personable and takes his time with you during your appointment. I would recommend him.

Dr. Delatorre is an excellent listener and he provides highly useful sugestions and non-medication related guidance to ease or alleviate acute symptoms. He's warm, friendly, good-humored and energetic. I've found that he has great insight into complex cases and an understanding of how to relate information effectively to patients and family. This is a very busy practice and it may take some time to schedule a non-urgent appointment but Dr. Delatorre is well worth it.

Terrible Doctor, rude and wasn't able to figure out my issues. I went to a much better GI who was outstanding and solved my problem. This so called doctor gave me an endoscopy and colonoscopy one day, when I woke up I asked him a couple questions and he yelled at me and said it was not a visit and that I ask too many questions. This was after a very shaky initial visit where he showed absolutely no bed side manner, I probably should have known better but I gave him another chance. Bad Doctor.

I find Dr Delatorre takes the time to explain to you what is going on and how we will go about treating you. He does not rush you out and answers all your questions..

Dr. de la Torre listened to my concerns including my family's past medical history. He is personable and answered all my questions in a way I could understand.

Dr. de la Torre is one of the best specialists I've have ever dealt with. He pulls no punches and tells you the truth about your condition. On the other hand, he is very compassionate and shows genuine concern for you as a patient. He cares. I would recommend him to a family member or friend without hesitation.
