Ruth was rude, unprofessional, and tried giving me a diagnosis that is not congruent with my symptoms after only 5 visits with her. Avoid this woman at all costs, there are more qualified and understanding therapists out there. She told me because she has a Ivy league education, she knows better than anyone else about mental illness, and what would I possibly know about my 'diagnosis.' I have had a profoundly more positive and transformative experience with Dr. Stewart Jacobey based in Sharon. Best of luck to anyone who does wish to try out this delusional and pompous woman. I have seen Ruth for lots of years during my very long divorce and she was a tremendous help for me, very intelligent, very knowledgeable and empathetic.
