Nikki Allen

Dr. Allen treats me as a patient and not a number. He has helped with my physical and mental health. He is very very intelligent and he has a funny whit about him. Thanks for always having my back, literally. Much respect and prayer ???? goes out to Dr. Timothy Allen.

Met Dr. Tim today, he came highly recommended and he beat expectations. Took one visit to trust him completely. Will never see another Doctor.

UPDATE: this practice is a joke. Dr Nikki stopped seeing me after I let her know I did not have the same religious views as her. She wanted to take me to church. Dr Tim gave me a lecture about how COVID vaccines do not work and no one uses face masks at this location. They then refuse to see me for a med check and refills because I owe $1,400. Dr Nikki had given me a guilt trip over the phone that I could not pay because I had lost my job. I am still looking for work and will go through withdrawal because they refuse to see me. And they didn't bother to tell me until I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes. Dr Nikki had told me that I could still be seen there when I spoke to her on the phone last year - but then had the audacity to basically call me a liar when she told the nurse she never said that. The hypocrisy with which these providers practice is incredibly sad. I went from loving them to the complete opposite. They should be ashamed of themselves. Not only did they miss my MS diagnosis after having it for 10 years, they told me to go get an eye exam in new glasses when I lost vision suddenly. That's a telltale sign of MS. Dr Nikki made me feel like they had done so much for me and I was ungrateful because I could not pay them. Thank God for medical facilities that will not turn you away. Apparently "Christian" providers practice differently. Apparently unless you're going to church with them they don't think very much of you. Trust me people, don't go there. _______________________ Both Dr. Nikki and Dr. Tim have been amazing. They go above and beyond, and they're kind and empathetic. I recently had a very serious health scare that created some complications. Dr. Nikki saw me through the entire thing and encouraged me when I became discouraged. Hey staff are incredible, they are incredible... And I recommend them to EVERYONE I talk to.

I truely love the whole staff at the Allen Family Clinic. They are very professional and extremely caring to all who enter their doors. They care about your mental health as well as physical. I do recommend them to anyone who asks.

I was a patient of Dr. Allen for many years. After many disagreements on several issues, I am not any longer. She was no longer the right physician for me, but she may be for you. She does not believe in the safety of the COVID vaccine or the necessity of mask mandates. She is also devoutly religious and as that made its way more and more into her practice, I decided she was no longer the physician for me. Because of that, I would no longer reccomend her or the other Dr. Allen to a friend, however, she cares intensely for her patients and will fiercely advocate for them. If you are of the same ideology as she is, she may be for you. She is still a very good physician, just one that I can no longer get behind.

Somewhere in the Bible it talks about entertaining angels unaware. I came in there with little money and in bad shape. Dr. Allen knew exactly how to help, was very compassionate, and would not accept the little I had. He told me, "just pay it forward." I am touched by generosity like this. Dr Tim and Dr. Nikki are two Drs that will treat you in the manner you've always wished to be treated by a physician. After one appointment you'll know you're not a number. And they will be there for you whenever you need them. I've been coming back to the Dr. Allen's for over 8 years. They still treat me with that new patient attention you sometimes only experience once other places. If you want to see two Drs. that are really into their patients and the practice of medicine, you will never find any better choice. I didn't visit. I called to ask general questions about Dr Nikki Allen, and the women answering the phone was rude to me!

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tim Allen and I will tell you why. Not only was I recommended by two people, these two people are very close to me. One is my girlfriend of 8 years the other is a long time best friend. I seen their lifes improve SIGNIFICANTLY after seeing Doctor Tim. When I met my girlfriend she was very out going, funny, happy. Depression hit her and all she did was sleep 24/7 for months. She seen other doctors and there was NO improvement. After she started seeing Doctor Tim she started to improve ALOT and QUICKLY. He knew exactly what was going on with her, what medications she needed, and made sure she fully understood what was going on. He also took whatever amount of time she needed and understood her when not even the people closest to her even knew what was the problem. Now for my best friend - he fell into addiction very badly (and I mean bad! Lost everything!) and Doctor Tim helped him set up his medication assistant treatment. He stopped using. Now I have my girlfriend and bestfriend back! I would also like to add in that I am 45 years old and have NEVER had a primary doctor. I have seen plenty of people go to doctors, including my parents, and it seems like medical facilities are always overbooked, burnt out, or only about money. Doctor Tim's office is small so they have time to work with you one on one and he really has motivation and drive to really help his patients. Dr. Timothy Allen was first my doctor at a prior clinic. I then chose him to be my primary doctor because he is very kind, knowledgeable, and informative. Dr. Allen takes whatever amount of time it takes to make sure I understand what is going on and answer any of my questions and/or concerns. I never feel rushed. I think he is an outstanding Doctor and I would highly recommend him. I also want to add that the entire staff/medical staff that I have met are all so friendly and professional. The nurses are super nice and prompt on answering questions, calling back, and getting conerns to doctor right away! It's nice to be treated so good especially when you are not feeling well. Dr. Nikki has been my gp for a few years now. I cannot speak highly enough about her professionalism and care for me and my family. Last November when I had a scare with my heart she referred me to a great specialist and has walked along side me through a heart diagnosis and worked closely with me on management of type 2 diabetes. Just saw their Nurse Practitioner Tracy Prolux. I was able to schedule appointment within 24hrs. Their Check/registration process was effortless, no wait time! Tracy was fantastic! She took the time to get to know me and my history she built a plan I felt comfortable with. I definitely trust my care with this team! highly recommend Tracy and The Allen Family Practice! Dr. Nikki Allen have been our GP for over 10 years. We have followed her to her different offices throughout the years. We were ecstatic to see that the Dr. Allen duo bought a practice and were serving the community again. As soon as we found out we immediately called and scheduled appointments, and so glad to be back under the care of these two amazing physicians. We have recently moved about 5 hours away but refuse to find a doctor here, there is truly no one that could compare to these two, so a couple times a year we get into our car and make the drive to see Dr. Allen and it's well worth it! Stop telling patients that the vaccine is dangerous. Now that my unvaccinated mother thinks wearing a mask will make her sick, when she gets COVID-19 it's your fault!

Very compassionate and caring. Listens and explains very clearly any questions I may have. Exceptionally intelligent and well informed.

Why do we go to the doctor? Health right? Are we healthy, will we continue to be healthy, what can i do to improve my health? These are the things that matter and Dr. Allen is a consummate professional when it comes to these matters. If you are looking for someone to keep you on the right track and be open and honest about your health she is the right choice. I am absolutely floored by some of the reviews posted here. One person complaining that a doctor went into high gear because there was an emergency situation, seriously? Your Doctor should be your health professional who is open and honest about your options, if your a little on the heavy side he or she should tell you about it, if you looking for anything else try a coffee bar or something.

Both Dr.s Nikki and Tim are caring and intelligent M.D.s. They are willing to think outside the box and yet unwilling to compromise on care. You would be well served to see either of them.

Literally the most amazing and compasionate Doctor I have ever experienced. Tom is so knowlegable and he makes you feel so at ease, and goes over everyrhing and really cares about you.... Wish there were more like him... but Im glad I found him.

Dr. Nikki Allen is a kind doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. I had a bit of an emergency at about 8:00 a.m. and my appointment was at 12 noon. I called her office in a small panic and they weren't open yet. They have the option to press '3' for her cell phone and so that's what I did. She answered right away and talked me through my situation over the phone. She was so understanding and I was very thankful for her calm voice of reason. When I arrived for my appointment she needed to perform a small procedure on me and continually kept making sure that I was comfortable. She spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions and making sure that I understood everything that was happening.The whole staff from the receptionist to her assistant are friendly and personable. The office itself feels warm and homey. It is just the kind of place that a patient would want to bring their children to visit. Dr. Allen really spends quality time with her patients - you aren't just a number. In fact, quite the opposite. It is clear that being a quality physician is not just a job to Dr. Allen - it is her passion, her calling. I saw Dr. Nikki Allen for the first time this week. She was professional and very personable. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. She was easy to talk to and I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a physician.

Dr. Allen has been our family doctor for fifteen years. You wont find a more competent, caring physician. From my now 27 year old daughter to my 97 year old mother-in-law...our family has only received the best care from Dr. Allen.

I love Dr. Allen. She’s like a mother to me. I came to her on a referral 10 years ago for bipolar disorder and she’s always been there for me. Since then, my boyfriend who is struggling is now her patient and she saw him every week to get his medicine in order. Now my dad, who is in hospice care is her patient and she’s always so positive! I’m addition, she continues to help me emotionally. I love you Dr. Allen!

I am not a doctor person and found many excuses not to go for a checkup. I met Dr Nicki Allen at our church and felt very comfortable around her. I made an appointment with her and I am so grateful that I did. She made me feel very comfortable. I have seen her a number of times and my fear of doctors has disappeared. She is very professional, caring and is so encouraging. I thank God for bringing me to her office. She is a real sweetheart. Another bonus, her staff is also wonderful.

I wrote a review on here before, a negative review... and a few days later I get a call from Dr Nikki Allen about my review. She criticized me, spoke badly of me and called me names. Not very professional.

I’ve been seeing her for some time now and love that she now has her own practice. She is a fantastic doctor! Very down to earth and very personable. I really can’t say enough about her. A great person!

Dr. Allen has been my physician for only a short time but in that time she has sat with me while I cried, called me after hours AND went above and beyond when the clinic was falling apart around everyone. I cannot express how amazing she is as a provider and will continue to follow her, wherever her practice leads her.

Dr. Allen is amazing! I wish she would come back to Lake Geneva- Mercy. I had a problem that was mis-diagnosed for 10 years until Dec. 2017 when Dr. Allen figured out what was wrong on my first visit. She was so concerned, helpful & went far above the norm for a Dr. And this happened on her 2nd to last day at Mercy.

While Dr Nikki Allen was not my primary (her husband was) she has graciously taken over my care and has done so seamlessly. As an Aurora employee I’m blessed to have the inside scoop on who to see and who is a detriment to patients and Dr Nikki was always rated highly. It was sad when she made the decision to leave Aurora, as they lost an amazing Dr. thankfully I have insurance that allows me to go anywhere and I’m able to continue to see this amazing doctor.

Dr allen placed my wife on the depo shot without giving the proper notifications on side effects and also told her it was reversible. She also place her on the depo shot knowing her history of depression and the possiblity of diabetes. Also failed to do a pregnancy test before administration of the drug.

I can honestly say that Dr. Allen is the best physician I have ever seen. Without going too far into detail, she went above and beyond a physician is ever expected to go for my personal situation. I have recommended her to friends and family.

She has been there from the start and If I ever have a question I can leave here a message and she returns my call soon I feel like I’m taking to a family member. Dr Allen has been a GREAT doctor, I've been seeing her for over 10 years. My boyfriend started seeing her 4 years ago, she is amazing. He has some very serious health issues and almost died seeing an urgent care doctor. My mother and daughter both see her as well!!!

Dr. Allen has ALWAYS been my favorite doctor! She explains everything, makes me feel at ease, addresses any concerns I've had and notices things I may forget to bring up. She is the best Aurora ever had and I'm greatly saddened that her practice is now so far away.

Dr Allen is no longer under our insurance plan but I still want to leave a review. Our whole family saw Dr Allen as our primary dr and we NEVER had a bad experience. She was the most caring and helpful dr that we ever had. Whether it was myself, my husband, adult children. grandchildren, or in-laws, we had all been extremely happy with her knowledge and the care that she provided. We were all saddened by her departure and are still struggling to find her replacement. We all recommend her highly.

Very poor doctor. unprofessional, not understanding, condescending, poor communication skills and is confused very easily. While these things are clear and she just lost her job, she remains confident and pretentious in her conjectured reality. Not only is she absent minded, she's literally bordering unconsciousness, walking around with about 98% air in between her ears. This is dangerous. Do not go to this woman. Aurora fired her for a reason.

Very poor doctor. All about the Benjamin's. Three years ago I walked into her office barely breathing. After waiting to see her she said my oxygen level was under 90. She hysterically started screaming call 911! Her assistant calmly pointed out that my husband was in the waiting room and could easily get me to the hospital quicker than the ambulance even getting to her office. What kind of doctor panics and the assistant (not even a nurse) has to take charge? Would not recommend her.
