He explained my condition to me in a way that I could understand it very easily and was able to give me breathing better with less medication. Not only do I feel better but I have a much better understanding of how I can help myself.

Everyone of the doctors in that group does an excellent job my mom has copd and shes 84 .She is still doing good because of them

/we first met Dr. Mathai when my husband was in the ICU at the Hospital. My husband was unable to speak . But Dr. Mathai ,leaned in close to him and said, "When I went into practice with my Father, he told me,"When you meet the patient for the first time, look into their eyes and see your Mother or me, then treat them " It was the most reassuring thing I have ever heard, he looked at him and added, so Father," I'm going to take good care of you. It doesn't get any better than that.

He spent time explaining my condition and the treatment plan in a way that was easy for me to understand. My other doctors don't do this.
