Went for a cleaning and no complaints

First dentist appointment in 20 years and they took the time to not only make me feel comfortable but get me in good shape moving forward with my dental care. I would highly recommend this team. My hygienist was amazing and Dr. Woods was also great to work with. Highly recommend this practice!!!

I am a new patient at this office and I have to say the entire staff is amazing. The front desk, the dental hygienist, and the dentists made sure I was well informed about everything from upfront costs to insurance to my personal issues and a plan to get me where I wanted to be with my dental health. I went to see Dr. Woods in September only went twice and NEVER again! I wish I checked out some of the reviews on here prior to my appointments. I have Insurance , however my Insurance has a waiting period for certain work that needs to be done . Now I don't remember first of all when exactly I signed up for this Insurance and second what waiting period is for what type of work done in my mouth ! Previous Dentist staff made me aware of these type of things . I had 2 fillings done by Dr.Woods Sept. 22nd they told me my responsibility was $130 . Couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $420 . I called the Insurance which was VERY helpful and come to find out the fillings weren't covered since the waiting period for that type of work was until OCTOBER 1st ...I asked the office staff why they didn't make me aware of this . All they said was that this is not their responsibility to tell me . BUT ISTNT IT YOUR RESPONSIBILTY to keep patients happy and wanting to come back ..Then they held my xrays hostage and blackmailed me if I don't pay the bill they will not forward my xrays to the next dentist I would switch to . While Dr.Woods was working on my teeth she had a personal conversation with her assistant , like I am not even there . It may not bother some but that to me is arrogant and disrespectful . The work she did was good but everything else in that office is just soooooo wrong . very unprofessional and rude I went to see Dr. Woods in September only went twice and NEVER again!
