Terrible dentist, rude to our 7 year old and put oversized spacer in that had to be removed after hours after causing prolonged pain, immovable jaw. She hasn't been able to swallow ,drink or eat in 5 days. Refused to give spacer back and said it wasn't their fault, she was fine before. Insurance said spacers are not to be used in young children and refused to pay, possibly gonna notify DCF, she's that bad ! Terrible dentist, as previously reported she is rude and harmed our 7 yr. old girl by putting in improperly sized spacer which had to be removed after hours. She's unable to move jaw, to talk, eat or drink, 5 days later !gonna notify DCF based on others hurt too

Dr Young is rude. There’s definitely better pediatric dental offices to take your children to, do not waste your time here.

Took my 11 year old daughter here for a cleaning, the assistant that was cleaning her teeth, goofed off the whole time. She didn't even floss my daughter's teeth.. how do you clean someone's teeth and not floss? Doctor stated she needed 4 fillings on permanent teeth. Didnt even show me which teeth. I took my daughter for a second opinion and she doesn't need any fillings. How can you say a child needs 4 fillings on permanent teeth? Just out for money. I will never go back here! I personally dealt with Dr Young and unfortunately we did not have the best experience. I have a 3 year old autistic child, and I could immediately tell she did not have the patience for dealing with him. I don't want to get too much into this part, but she made it very clear she can't be bothered to deal with special needs kids here. The main reason I am writing this review is not because of the way my child and I were treated, but because of the UNNECESSARY procedure she assumed I would agree to... She said my child had 6+ cavities and he needed to be put under anesthesia to fix them. No other options or explanations, basically just a thanks for coming here, the receptionist will schedule you for the procedure asap. Now, I did believe her about the cavities because this is her job and she is the expert, but I did not feel like this was the only option for us. With that being said, I went with someone else for a second opinion and it turns out that we need to keep an eye on a few teeth, but nothing else needs to be done. The new dentist said he will see us in 6 months and that's that. Nothing else. Always trust your gut instincts! I've been coming here for years! Dr Young has taken care of my 4 children. I wouldn't have a desire to go to another pediatric dentist! She takes the time to build relationships with her patients and families. Her staff is friendly and relates well to the children. I feel like I'm always involved in the treatments . As my kids have matured, I've felt comfortable enough to sit in the waiting room! However, when I've needed to be with them, I am welcome to be their comfort. With growth of the practice, they have added a second Dr. I was nervous at first, but Dr. Johnson has a great chair-side manner as well! I've been coming here for years! THIS WOMAN IS SO RUDE!!! She has the crappiest attitude I have ever seen a pediatric-anything have! Also I have read a ton of reviews that she has hurt children in her care! Do not go here unless you’re ready to give her back the same attitude she dishes out.

Dr. Young is the best pediatric dentist I have ever been fortunate enough to patronize. She will make your children's (and the parents!) dental experience calm, cool and stress free. Unlike other pediatric dentists, with Dr. Young, you can sit in the back with your children as they are receiving their services. The kids receive a token to use in the toy gumdrop machine when they are complete. The office is spotless, easy to find, we never wait long, and all procedures are explained clearly.
