The staff was incredibly personable and friendly, competent, and were great about explaining exactly what I needed. Liked the environment. Me teeth feel awesome, too. ????

Dr. James Alcorn is an outstanding dentist! He is practical, wise, ethical, and possessing of great expertise and experience. The staff is the BEST!

This dentist may be fine for checkups, but anything other than that is extremely shady. When a dentist is prescribing cocktails of medications that even doctors and pharmacists find questionable, then you're looking at negligence at best, malpractice at worst. We've been dealing with the repurcussions of this negligence for a couple months now, and now are starting to have billing issues as well. I sincerely hope we are the exception, but I can not in good conscience recommend this office in case anyone else has to deal with this. Dr Alcorn is a very good person, kind and considerate.The staff is very nice and makes sure everyone is comfortable . Also I would like to say that Dr Alcorn is an excelente professional and all the assistants are wonderful people.

I have been to many dentist offices before, but Dr. Alcorn's is by FAR my favorite. Dr. Alcorn and his staff are professional, friendly, and always accommodating. The new office is so warmly decorated and inviting; I always feel relaxed and at ease when I am getting work done on my teeth.

Dr Alcorn always makes sure the patients needs and wants are met! Both the doctor and staff make sure patients feel welcome and comfortable during their visit! The office has very flexible hours to fit patient’s busy schedules. Best dental office out there!

Dr. Alcorn and his team are the BEST of the BEST. I’ve had lots of dental work done (unfortunately) haha and been to lots of dentists but I’ve stayed with Alcorn family dental because they genuinely care about me as a patient and they go out of their way to make sure I have a good experience. They’re very detail oriented and I have full trust in them. They’ve always done an incredible job on everything from cleaning, to a filling, to even a root canal. They’re also very honest about what work you do or don’t need. Oh and a huge plus is that on certain days they open late and stay open late so those who work during regular business hours don’t have to leave work to go to the dentist. My family and I love Dr. Alcorn and his staff. They are so nice and make all of us feel so comfortable. Dr. Alcorn is extremely professional and competent. We’ve received great care for a wide variety of dental issues and never had any problems. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Dr. Alcorn for over 6 years. He is amazing! A couple of years ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with extreme tooth pain. I gave Dr. Alcorn a call first thing that morning and he was able to get me in that same day to perform a root canal. I feel so fortunate to have found a denist who not only does great dental work, but who is also understanding and accommodating.

He does a great job of filling my cavities which I have plenty of. I have been going to him for over 3 years and I have alway had a pleasant experience.

Best Dentist around. Dr Alcorn has been our dentist for the past 15 years and we always have received excellent service him and his amazing staff. We live in Arizona but still choose to keep Dr Alcorn for our dentist because of his professionalism and excellent care.

Dr. Alcorn consistently provides me and my family with exceptional dental care. He's been my dentist for over 15 years and I've referred many friends to him. As good of a dentist as he is, His integrity is beyond reproach!

I have never had such a great experience. Everyone from the front office to the back was friendly, calming and professional. Dr. Alcorn is a fantastic dentist and always takes time to explain the process and answer any questions and doesn't hurt when I needed a tooth numbed. I've always had excellent experiences and have total confidence in him. All in all the office is efficient and provides excellent service. I am totally comfortable recommending him to everyone I know.

My tooth pain started 8 months ago. I went in for an appointment to see what was wrong. The new guy Dr. Zurcher did some kinda cold test on my teeth and then told me, without reviewing X-rays, that I probably needed a root canal on one. And didn’t address the other that hurt saying it was fine. He started on the one by giving me a temporary crown, and told me if it still hurt when I came back for the permanent crown that they’d proceed with a root canal. Stay away!! Find another dentist!! For only checkups he may seem fine. But for major work I would find a different dentist. I had a tooth implant started by an oral surgeon (who did well) but ruined by Dr. Alcorn who also would not own nor fix his mistake. - [ ] ruined the foundation of a tooth implant and stripped the screw because he didn’t have the right tools, then sent me back to the oral surgeon many times to fix Alcorn’s mistake that was not made by the surgeon but that needed the surgeon’s skill to fix. - [ ] The surgeon couldn’t fix it at all but got it ready for Dr. Alcorn crown, and warned that it may need to be replaced or redone, Dr. Alcorn did not want to own his mistakes and assured me he could still finish the implant with a crown. - [ ] What should have take three months total ended up taking 10 months and a lot of pain. - [ ] Two years later, the implant is broken and loose and I need to pay to replace the foundation and a crown which is essentially a new implant. Very expensive twice for what should have been done once. - [ ] Never owned his mistakes - [ ] Promised multiple times to call back with results and never did. We have been going to them for the last few years and every single visit we have had a billing issue with them. Everything from telling us that our routine cleaning and exam wasn't covered (later said that was their mistake), to a visit not being covered because they billed it under the wrong person in our family, to going in for cavity fillings and them doing extra work without consulting the patient! Call us crazy for explaining away their mistakes each time and continuing to go back but this last time was the last straw. We paid at the time of service (not a good idea- should always wait until they bill insurance first) and we just got our EOB from the insurance and their office overcharged us for the procedure! Finding this out made me question what else may have been wrong with their billing so I went back to last year's claims and found out they overcharged us on work done then too! Almost $200 between the two claims. Hopefully they will resolve this and refund us the difference. They have a really nice staff but after all of this, I question the competency of the office. Jim and his staff are great! We started going to Jim 3 years ago based on a friend's recommendation. He and his staff have been great to help our girls who have irrational fears of needles and dental work!

Dr. Alcorn and his staff have been taking care of my family for over a decade. I have a low tolerance for dental pain and Dr. Alcorn is very considerate of that and takes the extra steps to make sure that I am comfortable during and after any procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Alcorn for all of your dental care.

If I could give it six stars I would. My family and I have been going to Alcorn family dental for five years now and are extremely pleased with not only his work but his employees customer service. My mother, father, brother and sister-in-law started going to his office and absolutely love it. I even saw two time National League MVP Dale Murphy in his office. And contrary from what Tina posted, my billing has always been exact and fair even if my dental insurance wasn't the best. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a dentist to go in and see him. I love Alcorn Family Dentistry! Dr Alcorn and Dr Smith are both great dentists. Our family has felt comfortable and pleased with the care we've received the past 7 years.They are friendly and knowledgable dentists. I always feel like I can ask any question I have with my teeth. Waited 2 hours, to be told what I already knew. Then charged me 150 for absolutely nothing!!

I am currently an employee of Alcorn Family Dentistry and I LOVE working for Dr Alcorn and with the staff members, but before I started working here two years ago, my family and I were and still are patients of Dr Alcorn. I'm pretty lucky if you ask me!!!!!

Great service and very kind people! Very knowledgable and straight to the point! Enjoyed my experience. I'm stay with them for as long as I can. Highly recommend.

I grew up going to Dr. Alcorn. I love going to him. He has been a great dentist from bi annual check up's to fixing a broken tooth from airsoft (Make sure you wear mouth protection) to taking out my wisdom teeth. I couldn't think of a better dentist.

I've never had a good dental experience in my life, except with Dr. Alcorn and his staff. They're incredibly kind, considerate, and punctual. I will never go anywhere else.
