Timp Vision took care of me even though I wasn’t coming in to order contacts or glasses. They had a rare prescription contact lens that they gave me to trial with a prescription. They just earned a new long term customer.

Very attentive to you as a patient. Willing to spend the time needed. Very satisfied with my experience with Dr. Potts.

I have been personally acquainted with Dr. Potts for over 20 years. There is none better! It is very difficult to fit me with contact lenses given a variety of challenging, competing concerns: active outdoor lifestyle, musician, computer nerd, astigmatism, presbyopia, myopia, and dry eyes. Dr. Potts approaches eye care with the same level of sensitivity and professionalism one should be able to expect from only the finest providers, but which is so uncommonly rare today. Given my more than particular expectations for optimal visual clarity at all distances, he would be reasonably justified in sending me to other practitioners with a pat on the head and a sigh of relief to see me gone, but instead has gone above and beyond with multiple follow ups, appropriate questioning, and a scientific approach to information gathering that has yielded superb results. Dr. Potts and his staff are very professional and efficient. I feel like he is a great doctor and cares about my eye care.

I've been going to Dr. Potts at Timpanogos Vision for about four or five years, and it's just getting too pricey for me to go here anymore. First off, I have vision insurance through my work. My insurance pays for a yearly eye exam ($10 co-pay) and $120 towards contact lenses (which is what I went in for today). When I went to pay my bill at the end of my appointment, they charged me $165--out of pocket--for the eye exam and a year's worth of contact lenses. In addition to that, they billed my insurance $270. So, in total, it cost $435 for an eye exam and a year's worth of disposable contact lenses. In the past, my out of pocket was normally around $50 to $60 (that was only for six-months worth of contacts), but this year's cost is a little over the top. I think Dr. Potts is a pretty good optometrist. He's a nice guy and answers all the questions I have for him. The place is clean and the staff is friendly, but I just think he's a little overpriced, hence my rating.
