Dr. Carlos Farah Johary

I sat in the dental chair for THREE hours while the doctor attended his son’s graduation. A temporary cap was placed on my front teeth based on the mold created. During the course of several months, the teeth fell out FIVE times and had to be replaced. On another occasion, my partial fell out yet again on a Thursday while the office was still open. I was told that the doctor was “too busy,” and I would have to wait until Monday. I wasn’t able to eat solid food during this time. His behavior became increasingly aggressive towards me, and, on two occasions, he had me crying and shaking. I was terrified every time I had to return to correct his mistakes. I had seven teeth pulled due to the mess this dentist caused. The bottom bridge was attached to a tooth emitting a foul odor whenever my water pick washed over it. Dr. Johary took an x-ray and said there was “nothing wrong with it.” It was infected and rotting from the bottom up, as discovered by my current dentist. And much more.

Spent nearly $4000 for extractions and he left a chunk of tooth in my gum. I removed it myself with small needle nose. Then he made an impression and it hurt so bad I had tears running. His response was if I wasn't so cheap, I could have implants with no pain. Implants cost a small fortune that I did not have. I just wanted upper and lower dentures that fit. Insurance would not pay additional for his shoddy work. I need a reline and now another $400-$500. Two years after extractions, I have dentures that are useless. Don't pay this clown until the work is done!

Dr Johary made my first set of dentures 20 years ago. I returned recently for a new set. He did not disappoint!

Office is old and dirty, 4.75 hours to get work done, severe pain at home call office few times for help NO help yet. Never in my life has someone been so bad. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

I have been back to his office five times complaining about severe pain in one tooth. The staff treats me like I’m bothering them and I’m an idiot. They are snotty and rude. Finally after speaking to the office manager , who is very compassionate, I got antibiotics. The tooth still hurts tho. I believe the doctor cracked my tooth when grinding it down for a crown. Either it’s cracked or he grounded it down too far. I’m totally frustrated with the customer service I have received from his staff. I’m changing to another dentist And Johary can kiss my ass!

Great Dentist, friendly staff. Appointments are stress free and procedures are done perfectly.

stay away, this Johary has an office in Mt Dora and one in Oxford, sloppy, dirty - read his reviews.... got me for $18,000 for a bridge that only lasted 2 yrs...... my new dentist told me that Johary had no buz doing the work he did on my mouth

This office does everything. They are trained in all specialties. Best prices and all work warranteed. They cater to your budget.

Unable to rate for a visit but negative five stars on customer service. The receptionist was rude as hell. I’m a nurse and there is no WAY that I would ever refer a patient to that clinic, ever. Seriously, call someone else. 4-21-19

Never ever would I ever go back to this dentist. He and his staff are liars. The staff is untrained. The office USB’s not clean the place stinks. His work is not quality. It’s hard to believe he has a real license. I would never recommend you see this dentist. I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy here.

DO NOT take your children here. A wait of over 4 hours for a cap and filling. They do not let you even sit in back with your child as they wait 4 hours. Will do procedures that parent was not notified about. If you care about your children DO NOT go to this place!!!!!
