Yingxue Zhang

Dr. Zhang communicates poorly, often being lecturing, critical, and referring to her own lifestyle as an example (which is not relevant to the lifestyle of the older patient). This is unnecessary.

Dr. ZHANG is exelent Dr. She always help me with my problems. Last time I was in her office with a lot of pain and she gave me a shot. Thanks her and God I'm doing much better ????. Dr. ZHANG is my Dr. for a few years.

Dr Zhang has always been very helpful with my bone density issues and prolia injection. She is answers all my questions and is thorough with her answers.

I don’t think Dr Zhang could be a doctor she is very rude when I was talking to her she seem she doesn’t care and look I was by myself inside the office ! I ask so many questions none where answered ! I wait so much for the appt and when I left she make me feel worse

She would not answer my questions but she asked the same questions over and over again and when I read the notes afterwards she had noted inaccurate information, she is not empathetic, very brusque, I would never recommend her nor would I ever go back to her

I cannot imagine this office is any better than the Gaithersburg office, so a duplicate review is in order, maybe I can help someone else. What a horrible office. I have been going here well over a year now, and have been getting more and more frustrated. She seems fairly content to bill and get paid, but I do not feel like she actually listens to the issues. I go in, sit 5 minutes, get prescriptions and leave. I think I have had vitals taken, maybe 2 or 3 times ever. And now, randomly some other insurance plan "mysteriously" makes an unrequested payment to the office on my behalf, making my primary stop paying her. She will no longer see me or fill my much needed meds unless I pay out of my pocket. I am on Medicaid, if I could afford to payout of pocket, I would not be on that..... Pay or get out..... I have been looking for a Dr for months and getting the runaround. I called Dr Zhangs office yesterday and Erica answered the phone. She was a breathe of fresh air. Erica was kind, empathetic, and actually listened to me. She than spoke with the Dr and got right back to me. I just wanted to thank Erica for going above and beyond.

she review all the issue and lab result with me every visit. professional and concise. the office is clean and lot of parking space.

My experience has always been very good. She is caring and compassionate, and very attentive when I saw her in a great deal of stress. Given that English is not her first language, in my experience she communicates effectively. She frequently has a resident doctor with her, as this is part of their training and part of her responsibility as a physician leading the next generation. Her staff is sometimes abrupt, could use a little bedside manner....

Dr. Zhang speaks English, and I believe she reads it just fine. I absolutely do not have any sort of negative attitude towards anyone whose 1st language isn't English. I had no trouble understanding her. I got the distinct impression at the 1st visit, reinforced at the 2nd, that she doesn't understand it as well as she speaks it. There won't be a 3rd. In reference to the only other written comment here, I can believe this happened though she may have gotten more diplomatic over time. She does not seem to even acknowledge the existence of seronegative inflammatory diseases. Relies solely on blood tests. Without going on and on about what led up to it, she referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. The Ortho outright said 'this is an inappropriate referral and I'm not going to charge you for it.' Have never seen anything like it. Do NOT recommend.

I am not entirely sure that Dr. Zhang understands English as well as she may read or write it. There is always a medical student with her - and while this could be a teaching technique - giving them a chance to practice explaining things - after 2 visits I think there's something else going on. I didn't have any trouble understanding her, and I have no problem with people whose 1st language isn't the same as mine. But I certainly did not feel heard. She seems not to believe in seronegative inflammatory diseases and puts most, if not all, of the emphasis on blood tests. There's a lot of my history that I believe did not get through at all. Not going back.

Dr. Zhang and her staff were warm and friendly very competent. She has made a difficult life change more manageable.

Doctor Zhang is wonderful! She does not rush you, she listens and answers all your questions! She is very kind and extreamly knowledgeable! So glad I found her! Highly recommended!

Rude. I have fibromyalgia but because of my young age she didn’t take me seriously. She said I needed to “manage my anxiety” and when I emphasized an issue with my shoulders she brushed it off and said I shouldn’t always complain about my pain—saying that I needed to think positively. She prescribed me a useless medication and when I asked if I could pick it up immediately she said I kept asking stupid questions because I was anxious when she likely prescribes this med multiple times a day

Dr. Zhang was not harmful but was also not helpful. She is clearly not up to date on research which was my biggest problem. Diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia but encouraged exercise and Cymbalta, both of which we now know do more harm than good. Thankfully I have seen a reduction in symptoms for some reason but I am not sure why so I’ve just stopped seeing her. She gave me very outdated advice that further studies have proven false, and she didn’t help (which I understand sometimes for these conditions there’s not much you can do, but I would rather have a doctor admit that than not be up to date on current medical research). This woman is a menace to society. She came into the room, sat down, looked at my wife's Rheumatoid work up and started, 'Why you come here?'... 'You waste my time!!!!' 'You not got Rheumatoid, you fat!!!'... 'You need to go on Biggest Loser and lose weight'. We told her that our doctor referred us to her for both the Rheumatoid and Fibromyalgia. Again she repeated, 'You not got Rheumatoid, why you come here? You waste me time!! You just fat, need to go on TV on Biggest Loser. We asked about the Fibro and she said 'You sleep good?' We answered 'no' she wrote a prescription for cyclobenzaprene and walked out.
