I’m over the face mask thing !! It’s ridiculous and unwarranted!! I think if people want to wear one that’s fine but if you don’t want to wear one you shouldn’t have to !!!

Seen Dr. Bont for a office visit due to my primary PCP not having a opening. I have been sick for over a week. Was seen in Urgent care five days ago they said I had a sinus infection. Now I have been having chest pains and coughing a bunch. During the visit Dr. Bont said that there was nothing wrong with me and he did not understand why the urgent care even gave me antibiotics for this sinus infection. I asked what to do about this chest pain I was having he told me to "stop coughing so hard" that will make it go away. He refused to do a chest xray and said you'll be fine.

Has not helped and won't do simple tests much of the time

My primary doctor was booked up and so I saw Dr. Bont for Laryngitis after being on 1 round of antibiotics which it came back after I took my last pill. I have seen Dr. Bont in the past and did not like his bedside manner. I had the appointment and when I explained that the antibiotics made me feel better and I got my voice back, he stated, “ it might have seemed that way” no they did make me feel better. I said I did not want it to get bad again where I had trouble breathing before and he stated, “ that is speculation”. He would not prescribe me another round of antibiotics and said he was referring me to an ent, but that would be 2-4 weeks away. I could hardly talk and I did not feel well and a lot of people I know who were sick required more than one round of antibiotics to get over their sickness. I felt Dr. Bont had his opinion and because he is the Doctor he knew how I felt and that was it. I know how the antibiotics made me feel better and I know what was required from the past. His bedside manner is not good, he talks down on whatever you say about what worked. Then I later read his report he filed about my visit and he wrote in the report that I was very anxious and that is a complete lie. I was not anxious at all, I guess if you ask Dr. Bont questions he states you are anxious. My friends who also seen Dr. Bont before also said his bedside manner is rude. I will not see him again and I will wait for an opening to see my primary care doctor who is great. Dr. Bont, His bedside manner is horrible, he is the doctor who thinks he knows it all and you the patient do not know your own body better than he does. If you ask any questions and do not agree with his answers, he later writes in your report that he files on you, that you are very anxious. Dr. Bont obviously does not know what anxious means, you are not anxious for asking the Dr. Questions, that is what the patient should do. But how dare you question his so called “Knowledge”.

I have seen Dr.Bont for 6 years for a condition that wakes me up at 3am from a sound sleep. It starts with sweating out towels, puke severely and awful diarrhea. This goes on for 3 hours. After the attack ends, I have to stay on the couch with blankets because I can't get warm for hours (4 min). This happens 10 days (minimum) of every month. Dr. Bont was suppose to send me to Ann Arbor, MI. (U of M). It never happened. My attacks are exactly the same as 6 years ago. Lots of tests, no help.
