The Hartland Eyecare staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. We are extremely satisfied.

Excellent experience. Dr. R was very helpful and detailed in explaining my eye health and offered solutions to my contact lens product upgrades. Crystal was VERY helpful in providing frame options and suggestions that fit my face shape. She found the pair I ultimately picked. Very satisfied!!!

Very pleased with Dr. Doud and staff for great Hartland Eye Care.

I wish there were more stars to give! ???? Hartland Eye Care is the best! The staff is amazing! Always kind, always helpful & knowledgeable! I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else!

Dawn was super friendly and made me feel right at home during my visit! Sarah also helped me pick out two great pairs of glasses and had solid feedback. Love it here!

The staff is friendly. But I'm not sure about the service...my neice has been waiting 4 mo for her contacts to arrive they have not ever called her to inform her anything. She has had to call for information always pushing off 2 more weeks?? As I stated my experience has been good except now I decided not to go back with my neices experience..& what do you know I was supposed to have a slight progressive lens which I paid for...BUT the new optometrist said there is no progressive lens in your current glasses...HUH!!! I wondered why I still had to lift my glasses on occasion....they robbed me & my insurance. I will never go back. I really wanted to support local...but not if local isn't honest!! I just went in to check it out from a referral I ended up with eye exam & new glasses. They were so personal office was Hi tech & Tina was like my own personal shopper honest, patient & helpful. Dr Doud was wonderful in explaining everything about the exam. I give a 10 to Hartland. Eye Care

Very professional and friendly people.

So have been going here for a few years now. Dr. Is great never had any issues with him. Unfortunately my recent experience will have me finding a new place for eye care. I recently wanted to order a another year supply for my contacts. I am well with in my year of my last exam. I wanted to get another year supply due to the pandemic gong on just to make sure i had them in case things worsen this fall and things shut back down or simply that i may not want to make trips out that i don’t t need to if things get worse. I was told i could not do this and had to have an exam to order any more contacts of the same prescription. I ask way and explained I didn’t really want to have to come in with everything gong on and was very busy with Kid due to start school for first year and trying to figure that out with everything going on. As well as if things get worse I didn’t know if i would even be able to or want to. I was told well thats our office policy, and there was nothing they could do. I then ask if i could get my prescription so i could get get my order from somewhere else or online or something. Was told well you can do that if you want to. So don’t really understand at all why they would prefer to lose a customer and have them go somewhere else and not make any exceptions to this policy giving everything gong on right now., So hate to have to leave a bad review and find a new Dr. but they have not really left me any choice. Positive, excellent appointment experience from the moment I walked in to the time I left. Staff were friendly and caring. The technology and advancement in eye care was impressive along with the equipment & testing! The doctor & his staff were very thorough. This is excellent care I received as a patient and would encourage any patient with Dry Eye Syndrome to see what’s available to them for help. I feel encouraged in scheduling my IPL treatments to help with the chronic itching, dry eye, and inflammation causing vision issues. I’ll be seeing you soon Hartland Eye Care! We have been going to Hartland Eye Care for 15+ years! Love the kind, professional, accommodating staff and of course Dr Doud.

My husband is in ICU at U of M. I spent the night in Hartland with friends to be closer to the hospital. I broke my glasses. The crew at Hartland Eye Center rescued me. I was out the door in 15 minutes. Excellent speedy service and care for a walk-in that needed help.

Busy at the front counter and managed to check me in and answer the phone and track down status for customer on the phone. Doctor Doud is very thorough and good conversation during the exam and set me up with better contact lenses. My 9 and 8 year old daughters saw Dr. Doud and his vision therapists to see if there were any undiscovered issues with their eyes that may be hurting their reading or other daily activities. They ran many thorough tests and they stated that their eyes were good and wouldn't need any follow up vision therapy. We were relieved of course, and were so thankful to have the opportunity to do some extra checking while my daughters are young. We were also thankful and surprised when they offered to teach us some exercises my daughters could do at home to make a few improvements and keep their eyes in top shape. I would recommend Dr. Doud and his team for anyone who wants to be sure their eyes are working at optimal levels. Not all optometrists can do what Dr. Doud and his team can do. Horrible staff, treated like crap, they are running a scam to get more and more money from you. Dr. doesn't care.
