Dr. Mark J Kopel

Went to see dr.kopel after seeing a previous doctor that was near impossible to get ahold of to just get my prescriptions filled. Seen dr.kopel and he set it up in a way that actually makes sense! I felt very comfortable there like I could talk to him about anything and felt well taken care of. Very great experience and I highly recommend him as he was very friendly and personable which is exactly what I was looking for. And I can actually talk to him when I need him!! Big shout out and a big thank you!

Dr. Kopel always takes the time to listen to all my concerns, which is not always the case with some doctors. I never feel rushed at my appointments. I was in the hospital recently, with a kidney stone, and he was there at the hospital shortly after they called him at 5am. I was impressed that he got there so early in the morning and had checked all the meds and tests the hospital had done. He ordered extra meds and the follow up care was great. I have been seeing Dr Christine Kopel for a few years now and i couldnt be happier! I always leave her office feeling better than when i came in with all of my concerns addressed and i never feel that stressed out feeling when i have to go see her. I highly recommend her and the staff is excellent as well

Great staff and great doc. He actually listens to his patients !! Imagine that!!

Dr Kopel has been our family doctor for several years. He always answers your call or calls you back regardless of time or day. He’s very calm and knowledgeable about symptoms. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr Kopel was very accessible throughout the COVID crisis. Prior to the reopening of the office, he helped my partner and I through several unexpected and serious issues, keeping us out of the hospital. Even now that the office has reopened, he helped me through a virtual "tel med" appointment because I was in excruciating sciatica pain and couldn't physically get to the office. He asks questions which clearly show he is reading the latest notes and records to understand your condition and perform proper diagnosis. He doesn't push medicine/prescriptions but makes them accessible when necessary.

Wow! I tried to make a new patient appointment. I couldn't get past the receptionist. She asked about my insurance and stated she would not make an appointment until I had called the company and verified Dr. Kopel was "in" my network. I told her I would pay CASH. She still would not allow me to make an appointment. I even told her it sounded like she was telling me to go elsewhere. She said good luck. Not a good experience, saw Dr Christine Kopel for a 1st time patient check up, and found her very rude. Particularly I've battled severe acid reflex for the last 5 years and has been years since I last had seen a doctor or had any test run. When speaking with her, I let her know I would be open to having another test to check on the status of my acid reflex, which last time was several ulcers. She proceeded to tell me that would be a waste of money. I mentioned different things bothering me on my body and she told me we were all finished and I am good to go, before she even looked at the areas of concern. Before I left I mentioned that I don't mind spending money out of pocket for the peace of mine the ulcers are gone and taking that test again, she snapped back at me that she is the one practicing medicine here and we don't just run test to run test. Dr. Kopel and the staff here are amazing. They really take the time to get a full understanding of your health and are very thorough. I searched for a doc for two years until I found Dr.kopel. I couldn’t be happier. They seem to really care.

DR Kopel has always been great, been using him for over 15 years. Christine has taken care of wife and daughters for almost as long. Nothing but good things to say. He has been a staple in our community for a very long time.

I just left Dr Kopel's office and I am totally impressed by everything. Christine took great care of me. She took her time to get a comprehensive understanding of my medical history and I really appreciate that. I've read some of the negative reviews here and I was a little apprehensive going to them but a friend of mine is a patient of Dr Kopel and thinks highly of him, so I went. I think they did a great job and I'm very glad I chose them as my primary care physician. I just left Dr Kopel's office and I am totally impressed by everything. Christine took great care of me. They gave me 1 day to find a Dr. 4 referrals, which had nothing to do with my condition. I held my meds in a safe for years. Unfortunately when my father died, he called me a liar and discharged me, without referral. I told then when this happened, they replaced my meds, I haven't had them filled 1 day early. Now 6 days out and the Dr doesn't bother himself to call back. Not even a SORRY your father died. No compassion at all. Borderline human. Now I've waited for my records. I have used Dr. Kopel as my family doctor for over a decade and he has always been willing to spend the time with me to determine the best way to proceed on treatments and my healthcare needs. He answers all my questions and listens to my suggestions. When I need to talk with him from home, he always returns my calls, even though it may be as late as 7 p.m., a couple hours after normal closing time. Some might look at this as a negative, but I can't expect him to jump away from patients he's seeing to call me back immediately. I respect that.
