Worst possible experience. Dr Blackbird feels you must skip your job for him. No consideration if you are responsible for a business. Some people don’t have the luxury or saying I must be off. I’m surprised that his business continues to exist.
Dr. Blackbird did not have a professional way of establishing what he wanted to happen. He forced his agenda on me more than once. If you want a therapist who considers you an equal partner on your mental health recovery journey, this is not the one for you. He tends to believe what he sees and when I tried to tell him what's really going on in my heart, he didn't believe me, and told me I am not being honest with myself. This hurt, because honesty is exactly what I was trying to do.
