Dr Peterson is Five Stars in my Book! In this day and age of quick “ins and outs” at most everywhere else, I deeply appreciate the time Dr Peterson gives me (and my husband) personally during my/our visits. Her care, suggestions and non- judgmental demeanor are refreshing. At 62 years old and in relatively good physical shape (usually a once a year exam) - she is an encourager and never over prescribes or over refers to specialists needlessly. She is a delight and I am always feeling better after my visits with Dr. Peterson. I highly recommend, and the drive to Hamburg to see Dr Peterson (from Brighton) is well worth your time and health. Dr Peterson does not listen well at all. For a year we explained my fathers symptoms asking for a new MRI, instead she kept sending him to PT! The office never returns phone calls or follows up. When my father disagreed with taking aspirin she literally just stopped caring instead of respecting his choice at 85. So now in a months time with a new doctor- we have a devastating diagnosis. Late onset, end stage ALS. I would NEVER recommend this office at all! Dr Peterson does not listen well at all. Dr Peterson was the only Lyme Literate MD that I could find in the area after testing positive for Lyme early this summer. Was not impressed with my GPs approach, and reading about the complexity of Lyme treatment, knew I need an expert. Dr Peterson was superb to work with, attentive and explained options well. Best of all seems to have cleared me up. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

I found her to be condescending and rude. She was "appalled" that I don't use a "neti pot" for my seasonal allergies. Rather than just give me the Z-pack that always resolves it if I get a secondary sinus infection, I had to endure new age woo lectures first. On another occasion I saw her for chest pains, and rather than take it seriously, she advised I get a less stressful job and see a shrink for the anxiety of the job. I have been seeing Dr. Peterson for about two years and have been very impressed with her knowledge, demeanor and willingness to discuss options and concerns. I have never felt rushed. I have seldom waited long at the office for appointments though I generally go near first thing in the morning. I like that there is a lab there for specimen draws and option for urgent care, too. I’ve been going to Dr Peterson for 3yrs. I’ve only seen her twice?? She promises you the moon but NEVER follows through with things. I felt extremely anxious when I did see her. A good doctor should make you feel at ease. I’ve felt more at ease with the doctors who were covering for her. Plus I’ve seen them more than her-who is my primary!

We've been under Stephanie's care for almost a year. She's a great Dr. Takes her time getting to know patient. Knowledgeable about illness, good referral network and is a positive influence in patient care.

Doctor Peterson is a amazing doctor.

Dr Peterson is amazing! She is always concerned genuinely with my issues and is very caring!

Love her style....she never makes you feel rushed and gives you the time needed. Very warm and friendly. Glad we found her.

Dr. Peterson has been my primary care physician for a couple of years and since she has started practicing in Hamburg. She listens very well, is quite responsive to calls and portal messages, and understands the importance of being a cost conscious patient. My work is on health quality and price and I believe Dr. Peterson provides excellent care at a good value.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Peterson. After switching to a new insurance, BCBS automatically chose my new PCP. Being a little apprehensive about a change in doctor, I was wholeheartedly surprised by how amazing she was. I feel like she just gets me and is always understanding in every way imaginable. If you can, choose Dr. Peterson!
