From beginning to the end excellent experience. The doctor is superb. Surgery was smooth and after surgery even smoother, meaning he must have done excellent job.

I am so thankful for Dr. Umoh. He is truly empathetic and takes the time to help you. He is one of a kind and I’m grateful that he is my doctor.

I was referred by my gastrointestinal doctor a year ago. Dr. Umoh, to me, saved my life and sanity. He helped, surgically, with my crohns. He explained all procedures in detail that both my husband and I understood. He is truly amaxing.

From the consultation to the post-op visit , I was very pleased with the way the staff and Dr.Umoh handled and took care of me. Office staff is pleasant and surgical staff made me feel as comfortable as possible before and after procedure. Thank you all and God bless!

Dr. Umoh and I met after a visit to the ER. I lucked out in this case as he is an excellent surgeon and a caring warm human being which means a lot when you are dealing with issues in that area of your body. He is very thorough and listens to what your concerns are and addresses them. I would recommend him to anyone in search of a good colorectal surgeon.

Dr. Umoh is a true master of his craft. I feel so blessed that I was placed in his care for hernia surgery! He was respectful and attentive thru out the proceedure and recovery. I have Crohn’s disease and the last place CD patients want to go is the surgeon, Dr. Umoh was super conscientious, ordered more imaging just to be more informed prior to surgery, the surgery went as planned and his follow up care is incredible. I’m terribly anxious and he’s very patient and reassuring because I just need to hear I’m okay, surgery was scary. I’m 100% better, I woke up and the ball of pain was gone I only wish I’d gone sooner. The office staff is fantastic, professional and caring. This quality is hard to find these days it’s a relief just knowing he’s there if I need him again.

He was recommended by my family physician and it turned out to be a very good recommendation. I was so pleased with Dr. Umoh that I have recommended him to some of my friends. Dr. Umoh is the best doctor there is. I was in agonizing pain and was seen the next day after I called. He fixed me up the following day by removing the hemorrhoids. I thank God for him.

Excellent care

Well, first I must say, I was referred to another colorectal surgeon; that did not go well for me. Dr. Umoh has the most calming and caring spirit. He listens and offers reassurance that everything will be ok. His staff are always pleasant and very polite. I highly recommend them to anyone having any kind of colorectal problems. If i could give more than 5 stars I would give him a 10.

Dr. Umoh was my surgeon for two procedures over the last few months. He has an EXCELLENT bedside manner....taking time to sit and discuss all options, and answering all questions. When speaking with him, I never had the impression that I was receiving less than 100% of his attention. Excellent doctor. He was recommend by another doctor, and I can see why. He did a couple extra test before surgery, and found a few things my first test didn't show. He explained in great detail about my surgery, what could and couldn't happen and the chances of each. It made me feel very comfortable. His manner is very calming! My surgery went very well with nothing unexpected.

A most competent, thorough and caring physician. Before removing my appendix, Dr. Umoh noticed an abnormality involving my small intestines. He ended up repairing an obstruction as well as removing a couple of cancerous spots. And, of course, he also removed my inflamed appendix. Afterwards, Dr. Umoh carefully explained the procedure and kept tabs on me throughout my hospital stay and beyond. Obviously, the gentleman comes highly recommeded by me.

Dr. Umoh is an excellent physician who is very caring and takes a lot of time with his patients. He is compassionate and understanding of the pain that the patient is experiencing.

I’ve struggled with a polinoidal cyst for years. I came across Dr. Umoh while searching for newer ways to treat this issue. He is one of the forerunners in this field in the Houston area that is performing a less invasive treatment option. His office staff were very responsive and quick to get me scheduled for visits and then surgery. He has an easy going manner that puts you at ease. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. The surgery/recovery was easy and minimal. Great results!

Umoh was the best what I like is he would sit and talk to you about your health as long as I needed , he explained everything so well , I will recommend him to anyone !! Very professional and personable

Dr. Umoh has a wonderful bedside manner and kept me well informed of what to expect and how to prepare for and best recover from the procedure.

Dr. Umoh provided quality care and has a wonderful bedside manner.

Great experience considering I was in extreme pain and looking for help when I made the appointment. Dr. Umoh and his nurse Elizabeth went out of their way to make me comfortable and to preserve for me at least a shred of dignity (given the area they were working on, if you get my drift). The procedure performed in the office gave me near instant relief, relatively speaking, and healed well. They followed up the next day to check on me and were available to answer questions by phone.

He preformed MAJOR surgery on my Dad then left the practice. We had to see his old partner who thankfully was a great doctor, but he was unprofessional just to leave like that. He could care less about his patients, and didn't even let anyone know where he was going. HORRIBLE QUALITY OF CARE!!!!

Dr. Umoh is, hands down, among the best physicians and specialists who have treated me. He is extremely skilled, with great bedside manners and attention to detail. He has a very high level of empathy for his patients and their loved ones, which is something that was greatly appreciated by my family while I was under Dr. Umoh's care. I am fortunate that my PCP referred me to Dr. Umoh.

Dr. Umoh was very professional and he explained everything to me. I would highly recommend him ,He was very kind and to the point. He made me feel safe and that I was being heard. He knew exactly what was wrong and treated it immediately. I'm back to 100%. Wonderful practice and would certainly recommend.

Excellent service, Dr.Umoh took his time to thoroughly explain my condition to me, he also explained the proceedure to me in a very clear and simple manner. Follow up visits were very easy to schedule. For the first time in 5 years, I feel really better.
