Worst doctor I have ever seen. Absolutely barbaric and outdated medical practices. Young women avoid her.

This doctor is awful, doesn’t follow AMA guidelines and uses barbaric practices from the dinosaur ages in which she got her license. She refuses to prescribe birth control for some insane reason. Dr. Wilson is very rude and does not have any bedside manner.

Dr. Wilson is an excellent doctor. She listens carefully to what is going on with you and finds solutions. She is very knowledgeable and caring.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson for 8 years. I trust Dr. Wilson. She cares about my well being. She is professional and courteous. Simultaneously, I like my doctor to be straightforward and I find Dr. Wilson to be just so with me. She listens and then provides feedback. She goes over my lab work with me. I can schedule my routine 6 month labs and checkups with the office very conveniently.I do not have long wait times for my office visits, sometimes I have had to wait at the lab. During the pandemic, they are taking good precautionary measures so that I feel relatively safe. Thank you Dr Wilson during these difficult times for frontline workers! Dr. Wilson has been my physician for 8 years now. I trust Dr.Wilson. She is professional and knowledgeable. I feel comfortable in her care, I know she cares for my well being. She goes over my lab work with me and I can bring up any concerns I have with her and she is a good listener and medical adviser. Thank you Dr. Wilson!

My initial new patient visit seemed to go well. But then after I completed the labs, mammogram, and chest x-ray, I was looking for follow up. Since I didn't get the return phone call as I was told I'd get, I went to the patient portal. No updates on my chart. The information about my current medications was inaccurate. I sent a message through my patient portal since I got voicemail when I called the office... I did get an apologetic response back within a couple hours with a promise of a phone call the next day, as the doctor was out. I thought I'd let that go, as things like this can happen. But the next day came and no one called back, no one updated my chart, no one bothered. This was several weeks ago now. I guess I'm to assume all of my tests were fine?! Very poor customer service. Initially, as a Registered Nurse, I loved South Coast and Dr. Wilson. I referred numerous friends and family members. Through the years, However, service and care has definitely declined. Visits had become shorter and with much less attention; it took a week or two to get refills; we weren’t notified of my husbands medication being recalled; were told we needed appointments for refills when we’d just had appointments... I brought my daughter in with me for my last physical and while there, inquired about her becoming a new patient of Dr Wilson because she’s now 18 and having a thyroid issue... Dr Wilson hurriedly said “she needs to schedule an appointment” and walked out. We weren’t trying to get a “free” visit, but did want to mention what was going on so she would know. My daughter felt very dismissed, but I defended Dr Wilson, saying perhaps she was busy or having a bad day... But my appointment today was the worst. I was literally 2 minutes late. I arrived at 8:47 for an 8:45 appt. signed in, they copied my cards, took my co-pay, told me they’d call me back soon. At 9, they called me to the desk and said Dr Wilson said I needed to be worked in later in the day or rescheduled because I was late. Even though their office policy allows a 15 minute window, the receptionist said “we tried to tell her you were here and signed in and we were copying your cards, but I can’t argue with the doctor” My appointment today was for elevated blood pressure. After leaving, discussing the above with the practice manager, I requested a refill of my bp med. I was told no, I’d need an appointment if my bp was high., even though I just had a physical 3 months ago and was told to come back as needed. Well, isn’t that what I was trying to do? Dr. Wilson was wonderful. This was my first visit and it was a great experience. Nurse was very pleasant and the Lab nurse I saw was great. So happy I select this practice!!!

I have found Dr Wilson to be very thorough and knowledgeable. She communicates with you rather than at you. She has been able to notice things that were missed by other MDs. Very glad to have found this doctor!

If I could give no stars I absolutely would. Dr Wilson is terrible. Do not see her, I repeat, do NOT see her. I went in for stomach pain and the medication she gave me was making it worse. I posted on FB regarding my issues and had so many people mention gallbladder. To be safe, I called and asked if I could request an ultrasound for my gallbladder based on hearing it mentioned so many times (my insurance would cover it so I wasn't worried about making this request, plus I feel miserable, might as well rule one thing out!) When I called today to find out where the request stood, I also asked about the medication as it was making my symptoms much worse. The nurse advised the following: "Dr. Wilson stated she CLEARLY said the medication would take 2 weeks to work. She also stated if you'd rather get your medical advice from FB, you can find another doctor." Two things here, first of all, I knew the medication would take two weeks, but she NEVER MENTIONED it would make everything worse. Secondly, I wasn't getting medical advice from FB, I simply posted about my pains and how long I'd had them and a lot of people mentioned their gallbladder and having issues getting it diagnosed correctly. So I simply thought, well shoot, let's just do an ultra sound and rule that out so I don't have to worry about it, no big deal. Well apparently questioning Dr. Wilson is a huge no no. Absolutely rude, brought me to a level of anger I don't let myself get to, but this is my health, and if I feel like ruling something out is the best option for me, then I'm going to ask to do so. An excellent doctor. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. One of the best physicians I have had.

Dr Wilson/her medical assistant were so nice. Took the time to review my medical history ask good questions. I recommend Dr Wilson. However, I do have reservations about the lab at the Pooler office. They disregard patient privacy and simple kindness. If you question the lab tech, especially Kenya, You will get scolded and will not be allowed to talk!!! My experience with the Lab was TERRIBLE!!! I saw Dr. Wilson for the first time last week. I came in for a get acquainted appointment. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was very pleased. She asked and answered questions, reviewed blood work I had brought with me and recommended we do one more blood test based on symptoms I told her I was having. The office got back to me in less than 48 hours with the results. I would recommend Dr. Wilson.

Great doctor.. Really explains things and answer all questions. Very knowledgeable and common sense approach. Very happy with her.

Dr. Wilson is excellent and she has been my doctor for several years now. I never feel rushed or "scanned" during my appointments. She is thorough but not wasteful. She explains and then asks for questions. AND, as important as anything, she is somehow always in a good mood and has a smile for me.

The visit overall was fine. The only thing was the lab person wasn't very clear about the process of what to do with the urine sample and where the rest room was. She acted like I should know the process. Then after reading all the directions in the rest room and coming out I wasn't sure where to go.

Dr. Wilson is an awesome doctor and extremely knowledgeable in diagnosing all areas of medical problems.

Dr. Michelle Wilson is very attentive, thorough, caring, and kind. Thankful to have her for my doctor!! I highly recommend her!!

Just wanted to say I was pleased with this office up until Friday 8-11-16. I called to request a refill on my prescriptions I was told Friday by one of the nurses that they would try to rush these through before the weekend. I never received a call back from anyone like I was told so I called back about 2 hours later. They then told me it hadn't been signed off yet by the Doctor (Sliker). So I went up to the office an hour later to ask if they had gotten him to sign off yet the front office clerk then told me it would be 2 to 3 days. So it's now Monday I called them again this morning and was told by the practice manager that I would get a call from the nurse at 9 am in the morning. I was not called until 4:45 pm and got a message to call Tosha back. So I called back and was told by someone else that I couldn't get my prescription unless I saw the Doctor again. I am a good customer who is paid up on all my doctors bills and am a manager myself for a warehouse in Savannah and rely on my prescriptions to be able to perform my job. I am not a pill head who is taking pills and selling them or abusing them in anyway but I feel like I'm being treated that way when I call or ask about my prescriptions. I am very upset with how I've been told numerous lies and not just told up front the truth. Instead I received 3 different stories of why my prescription had not been signed off on. You want your payments up front and your patients on time but when the customer asks for something you make them pay to see you again. Very sad that it's come to this but I hope that you read this and learn something from it to help make your practice better as for me you've lost me as a patient! Best Doctor I have ever had. Very concerned and approaches every issue I have that day with care and resolve. Always can get an appointment.

She is always thorough and explicit in her exams, findings and recommendations. Clinical yet compassionate ... I feel very confident in her care.

I told her I smoke and then she spoke to me about quitting. This was not the reason for my visit but then proceeded to charge my insurance $130 for tobacco consultation. This is sneaky and very unappreciated. She seems to care less about her patients but $$$

I've also had problems dealing with multiple medical issues during appt 's. During my first appt. a nurse came in and screened my talking points so I left without addressing some real concerns. Which remain unchecked to date. I'm in the process of leaving this practice for another south coast Doctor. If you have medical issues beyond a few this is NOT the doctor for you. I'd also like to add the receptionist /appt takers demeanor is appalling. Not a people person

The first issue I'd like to address is the woman that handles appointments for the Pooler location. She is rude/abrasive every time we call. Also, please stop referring to our symptoms as "complaints", it is degrading to have our health issues trivialized in this manner. The second issue is this practice restricts the number of "complaints" you can make to 3. This is not our experience with other South Coast doctors. I was trying to make an appt. for a new "complaint" only to be shut down.

Dr Wilson is the best. She is great and is absolutely excellent. Best doctor ever.

I am very happy with Dr. Wilson as my primary care doctor. She has great bedside manner, takes the time to explain things to me, and is very kind. I like the office as well, they are always polite and courteous and the wait times are not too long.

I had bloodwork scheduled & asked for a specific blood test, she refused to have them run it because that wasn't the reason I came in. If you go in for heartburn, but then ask her to look at your ear because it is bothering you, she won't do it because that isn't the reason you came in that day. I feel if I had been a male with the same symptoms, I would've been treated much differently. If I am paying for bloodwork, I should be able to request what I would like since I will be paying the bill
