I have been to Dr. Talarico's office twice now and I can not recommend choosing them more. I have received the very best care as a patient. When you walk in the door, you are greeted by a friendly smile. I have never had to wait more than five minutes to be brought to the back. The lady that calls you back, I am not sure if she is a nurse or a PA/NP, but she is very nice and personable. After she leaves, Dr. Talarico is always in the room within just a few minutes. Dr. Talarico is a fantastic doctor. He is amazing at what he does and has created a really wonderful practice. When he comes into the room, he does not rush. He converses with patients and takes his time. If you are searching for an office to go to, here are some reasons I highly recommend going here. First, there is little to no wait times. Getting an appointment is fast, and wait times in office are extremely minimal. Staff is friendly and personable. They all remembered me when I came back for my second visit and knew who I was! Office is clean and welcoming. Dr. Talarico is fantastic! Lastly, I would like to say that my procedures were painless. Both times that I went, I experienced little to no pain. I personally have a very low pain tolerance and have a lot of anxiety about procedures. Dr. Talarico was understanding, gentle, and careful as he was completing the procedure. Again, I can not recommend choosing Dr. Talarico and going to his office enough!! You will not regret it.

The doctor is nice to a point. However this office sends lab work out of network without informing the patient.

I recently had a toe joint replacement done by Dr, Leonard Talarico and am happy to report that I am on the mend and should not experience any pain once totally healed. Amy is Dr. Talarico’s nurse and is so kind and efficient. Vicki at the front desk is always alert and ready to help with questions. This office is just so efficiently run. Dr. Talarico performed my surgery at Effingham Heathcare Center and everyone in that medical facility was on top of things from check in to check out. What a great local hospital to have a procedure done. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff. Kudos to everyone! I went to Dr. Talarico for a bad hammer toe. He did surgery to correct it seven weeks ago and I’m very pleased with the outcome. He explained the procedure and all of my questions before surgery and after. He and all of his staff have been very caring and attentive the whole time. This is not the first time I have used him. I will use him again and I highly recommend him.

LAPIPLASTY!! THE BEST EVER! DO NOT GET A BUNIONECTOMY! Dr. Talarico did wonders for my left foot...can't wait to get my right one done. I was walking in a boot right after my surgery and driving 4 days after my surgery. Didn't miss an hour of work! He is the BEST!!

I highly recommend Dr. Talarico. I never once felt rushed. He took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained everything to me about my condition and the best approach. You don't see that anymore in a doctor. His staff was very Professional and very accommodating. His Nurse was fantastic and very kind.

Best doc appt. Toe "shots"-very little discomfort-cold spray much help, felt nothing with in-grown toenail operation and post op was piece of cake. Doc gets 5 plus stars.

Hands down the best choice I could have made going to see Dr. Talarico for a second opinion. I had a pretty bad break that wasn’t healing so I thought I’d check out what the differences was between a podiatrist and orthopedic doctor. Wish I had known sooner! From the time I called for a initial consult to the most recent post-op, the experience has been nothing short of exemplary. The office staff are kind; in the genuine way that will make you remember them. They are also very efficient and will get you in and out of there, back to your day. Dr. Talarico is the kind of doctor that makes you feel like you actually matter to him as a fellow human being. Never hurried coming in the room, or hurrying to get out. He has a quiet confidence about him; not in an annoying way, or any manner that could be perceived as arrogant. Just enough that you feel that you can trust him to do what he says he will. He takes the time to listen and will address any questions or concerns at every appointment. He did exactly what he said he would do to put my foot back together, and it’s healing just as it should. The in-house imaging is also extremely convenient. The imaging was done at my appointments and also gone over with me by the doctor immediately after. My surgery was performed at Effingham Hospital, and I was extremely impressed with the staff and the hospital itself. It was a seamless process. Great service and great advice for long term healing. Therapy and treatment was spot on.

My 7 yr old was quite nervous and Dr Talarico put her at ease, talking to about everyday things and animals. His bedside manner was amazing with her. He was gentle, kind and gave good after-care instruction. Would highly recommend.

I have been a patient here for over 3 years now. The office is always clear, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff is not only friendly but efficient and competent in their work. Not only pleasant And informative over the phone, I have always been greeted with a smile and genuine concern for my wellbeing. Dr. Talarico not only thoroughly diagnosed my feet issues but took the time to explain and answer all my questions completely. He has a calm and pleasant demeanor, very easy to talk to and just a genuinely nice person who has the best interest of his patients in mind. He’s not like so many other doctors I’ve seen where they are in “the business of medicine” and seem to put the overall concern of each patient secondary how much money that patient represents to the practice. He discussed my foot issues with me in a way that allowed me to confidently make informed decisions of treatment options. I have absolutely no worries of unnecessary procedures, under treatment that would require multiple additional treatments, or worse yet over treating me just for the extra income. The most recent times With Covid19 have changed how appointment processes are performed In the office. Having an underlying health condition I was greatly comforted with the efforts taken to keep me safe. Dr Talarico is FANTASTIC! He knew exactly what the issue was and I have so much relief after surgery. His entire staff is awesome. He explained the surgery very thoroughly but also made sure to rule out all other causes. I have been a patient here for close to two years and my experience at each visit is always the same. The office staff is very pleasant and greets you with a smile. They are always willing to help in any way needed and Dr. Talarico is very friendly and spends time with his patients. I have never had to wait past my appointment time and the office is very clean and welcoming. Our first experience was perfect. Staff is organized and compassionate. Dr Talarico listened with sympathy and offered up a solution that manages our expectations but gives us hope. Dr. Talarico was very knowledgeable and personable. He showed me x-rays, looked at my inserts and discussed my foot problem. He told me exactly what was wrong. I have hyperextension of the foot. I am now using the correct inserts and am able to walk. I limped in to his practice thinking I would be cripple because of a previous doctors diagnosis. Thank you Dr. Talarico!

This office is a joke. Was suppose to do a ct scan & never happen. Couldn't provide me a copy of images took. Went for follow up & was a waste of my time & money. Stay away!!

Dr Talarico is a phenomenal provider. He is thorough, knowledgeable and listens to his patients. He doesn’t hurry you through your appointment and his clinic is equipped with incredible imaging. I cannot imagine a more comprehensive foot specialist, and since I work in healthcare I personally refer patients to his office. I believe that’s the highest compliment I can offer. I went in to have a toe splinter removed. Dr. assured me he got it all out. This was important to me as I was retiring the next day and moving out of state. Splinter is still there. Dr. now claims he did me a favor and I should have gone to the hospital. Give me a break! This Dr is incompetent and I strongly recommend looking for another Podiatrist.

Prescribed incorrect brace and created new pain issues.returned brace to office. Would not refund 315.00 co-pay.Staff or Dr.Never returned any of my messages regarding refund. Just ignore my messages.Good Luck patients.You'll need it.

My experience with the doctor was ideal. He was caring and concerned and was a great listener. He has an impressive bedside manner. He is an informed conversationalist.

Let's face it, nobody likes to go to the Dr. Thankfully, Dr. Talarico is an awesome doctor who cares about his patients. He explained everything he was doing (in human terms) and made sure I was not in discomfort. His bedside manner and conversation made the experience so pleasant I almost forgot I was having two ingrown toenails surgically removed. By far the best experience I’ve had with a new doctor and office in a long time! First time patient and they were able to work me in the next day because I was in pain. Staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. When I arrived for my appointment I was seen within 15 minutes, including the time it took me to fill out the paperwork. The doctor was also friendly and explained everything in great detail and in terms that I understood. I would 100% recommend him to all family & friends. He has operated on both of my feet in separate surgeries. My recovery periods were short and both went well. Dr. T was very meticulous in his approach to treat my painful problems. I was extremely impressed and grateful for his respect and attention I received as a patient. He even called to check on me after each surgery. I have highly recommended Dr. T to friends and family. I came to Dr Talarico with tarsal tunnel syndrome. I had nerve compression in my foot causing the pain. I had throbbing, burning, sharp pain in my right heel and had to quit my job. I had pain walking and driving. I had a previous surgery by another doctor for this last year and the surgery was not done correctly. He specializes in this surgery. Dr Talarico redid (a revision) the surgery at the end of June 2018. I can walk and drive without pain now!!!He is very knowledgeable. Recommend highly

I have been seeing Dr. Talarico for several years now for ongoing diabetic foot care. He takes very good care of my feet, he explains his plans and treatments in a very easy to understand way. The staff are truly a delight to work with and very professional. If it wasn't for Dr. T I would probably be missing one of my toes. If you need a podiatrist, I can think of none better! Dr. Talarico seems technically knowledgable and nice in person, but the communication and dedication to patient care is lacking in this practice. First time I visited him for two foot problems, he addressed one problem left the room and I never saw him again that day. I left a message regarding the second issue but my call was never returned. A year later I returned for same problem. Took months to get lab results. Staff is rude and uncaring. Not patient centered...

He saw my mother for a broken heel.. she went in for a 6 wk follow up.. took her boot off told her she was healed up .. no follow up xrays.. 2 days later severe pain and swelling.. went to new podiatrist, did a mri found out her heel is still broke!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Dr Talarico over several years.He is a most excellent doctor has treated me for Diabetic care & problems for my feet.His office & staff are friendly, he meets/exceeds everything I need.I have seen many doctors for my Diabetic feet over the years & he far surpasses any I have seen.He is gentle, kind, & answers all questions. Had not had a problem for two years and suddenly I had one that might become very serious.Happy to see him again!He listens to his patients

I went to see Dr. Talarico for foot pain I tried everything he said and nothing worked, then he said that he was positive that I would get good results with the E-PAC treatment I went for 4 treatments and it got worse no better. The E-PAC was not covered by insurance I had to pay $75 out of pocket for each visit he wanted me to do more treatments and I refused. Then he wanted me to do some kind of lazor treatment that was over $1100 and it wasn't covered on insurance. I totally refused. This Dr is a big JOKE and taking all Elderly for there money. I found the Dr to be very nice & very good at explaining everything. If regular podiatrists have failed you, see him. Or just go see him first actually

Took my Grandfather in to have his feet checked and the staff were horrible to us. Rude and spoke so harshly towards us. The doctor spoke like a mouse, which my grandfather couldn't hear a word he was saying. My grandfather asked him to speak up and he didn't. His nurse was rude to me because I moved a chair so I could assist my grandfather, who is in a wheelchair, be able to sit on the exam seat. I will never recommend this place and have told everyone I know about how we were treated.

Dr. Talarico and his staff are angels. I had a crush injury to my leg that has cause severe neuropathy over the last 6 years due to an accident that I sustained in the military. All the doctors I have ever seen have told me there was nothing wrong with me, because they couldn't see what was wrong on imaging. I saw Dr. Talarico on a Wednesday, he knew exactly what was wrong and tested me on Thursday. When he told me he could fix my horrible pain, I cried. Two weeks later I had surgery on my nerves and now I live pain free. He also helped me complete additional paperwork I needed, and his staff and the hospital he used to do the surgery called and checked on me numerous times. I have had nothing but excellent care with Dr. Talarico. He is extremely knowledgeable and has always done exactly what has needed to be done and nothing more. After tearing ligaments in my ankle, he advised me to limit activity for quite awhile to see if things could heal themselves before having me consider surgery. He takes his time with the patients, his staff is amazing, and he doesn't over schedule people. He is personable, and i enjoy my visits with him and his staff! M. zink

Thought it was weird he wanted a urine sample as I was there for heal pain. He sent the urine sample to a transitional hospital out in Denton, Texas which ran up $2540.00 of lab work. Cost me $369. of my HRA insurance money, BCBS paid out almost $200. and I'm still being billed $900.28. I've never been to Texas but my urine has. What above board Dr. would do such a thing??? Stay away!! or at least don't give him a urine sample. Still left with my heal pain but will never go back here !!!!

To all my fellow Pooler Residents and Godley Stationers: Today, I experienced my first signs of plantar fasciitis while at work(didn't know exactly what it was first but felt I could shrug off the pain). When I got home it became worse and I went to a local doctor in Godley Station, The Foot and Ankle Center. There I was greeted by a kind woman at the front desk and SNARED at by a women in behind her when asked if I made an appointment. I told the ladies that I felt the pain today and the bright one in the back said "WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE AN APPOINTMENT THIS MORNING!!" (It's 1:30 PM come on give me a break). I asked the polite woman if there was anyway I could be contacted if theres a cancellation so she turned around to ask her, She IGNORED THE QUESTION for a long pause then turned to say NO. I don't know what her problem was but I wanted to take my time to share my experience. I really hope the doctor reads this because I'm forwarding this comment to him and passing along to my neighbors of Godley Station.
