Came to Dr Bergstein for my deviated septum. I had one prior surgery but was still having breathing issues. Dr. Bergstien was professional and caring from the first appointment I had with him. He preformed my second surgery for my deviated septum and I am very happily with the results!

Dr Bergstein is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. I’m very satisfied with my decision to use him.

Every surgeon told me I need a nose job, and he was the only one who said "If it's not broken why fix it?" He made it so I can finally breathe!!!! Best ENT Doctor! Five stars isn't enough! I broke my nose when I was little. I wasn't able to breathe through my left nostril. And over the years my nose grew a hump and bented down and looked awfully to big for my face. I was so insecure about it. Now at age 20, I was finally able to get it fixed. Dr. Bergstein performed a septorhinoplasty. Today at two months post op, I have never felt so confident. I feel like I can walk with my head up high and not feel called out. He made my nose look so natural. Dr. Bergstein is such a caring and thoughtful doctor. Words can't describe how grateful I am. He has changed my life!

I came to see Dr. Bergstein for a deviated septum and had to get a septoplasty. I would recommend him to absolutely everyone! He was so considerate during the whole process, I have honestly never seen a more caring doctor. He gave me his cell number to call or text with questions and always replied within 15 minutes. He eased all my worries before the surgery and called to check in when I got home. In addition to all of that, he is just a nice person and feels trustworthy. Most importantly - I have never breathed so well in my life! My nose has healed perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Terrible experience! At the first visit he seemed nice. On the day of the procedure however he was mean, rude, impatient and irritated when asked about a change in the procedure that was going to be performed that I was not made aware of by him prior. AMAZING AMAZING! its been a couple of months since my nose surgery to fix my septum and i can 100% state that dr. bergstein changed my life. its a bit dramatic but true. before meeting him i was a mouth breather and never realized it until covid. wearing a mask every day made me feel so tired and exhausted. breathing felt as if i was going up a flight of stairs. So i decided to see dr. bergstein. scheduling the surgery was a simple process, his staff pretty much took care of every detail. The surgery was fast and painless. After all my post op visits i can say i felt zero pain. it was discomfort at the beginning, specially the first night. Now i am breathing normal, i can sleep through the night. its been going great! Dr. Bergstein's diagnostic and technical skills are superb - but his level of patient care is on an entirely different and higher level. I'm now almost one month post a complicated surgery with him, repairing damaged sinuses and a badly deviated septum while also doing a minor cosmetic adjustment. The result of the repairs exceeded all expectations and the cosmetic fix is what we wanted, all but undetectable - but the patient care is what truly sets Dr. Bergstein apart. He performed the surgery at the outpatient Yorktown facility which was immaculate and staffed by a team that were both thoroughly competent and wonderfully caring. While one might think that's merely baseline, the surgery was in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, and despite all the challenges that presented, the team left me with a confidence that there was no issue they couldn't handle - and the results proved the confidence justified. The recovery from this kind of surgery is inherently uncomfortable, but Dr. Bergstein made sure that at every step of the post operative period he was available to provide treatments that reduced that discomfort to the minimum possible. That meant on the weekend after the Thursday surgery he made himself available not just for consultation but for in person treatments. I've suffered with chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps for most of my life, which in turn meant that I couldn't breathe through my nose most of the time and had a very limited and sporadic sense of smell. I had surgery for my deviated septum when I was in my early 20s, but felt little relief following that. I've met with four other ENTs only to have them dismiss my symptoms or schedule surgeries for me without even explaining what the surgery entails. Finally, at 29, I had a sinus infection that was bad enough to warrant me going to yet another ENT. I am so glad for that last sinus infection because it led me to Dr Bergstein. Not only did he listen to me when I spoke, but he gave me thorough examinations, identified the issues (nasal polyps that other drs missed and inflamed tissue in my sinuses rendering my ability to breath through my nose essentially useless). He encouraged me to go back to getting my allergy shots, gave me a steroid rinse (and antibiotics initially to get rid of that sinus infection) and then we discussed surgery. I always felt like I was in great hands with Dr Bergstein. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but his bedside manner is phenomenal as well. Sometimes, there's a bit of wait for an appt with him, but I know that the wait is because he's taking his time with each patient to address their concerns and ensure they're comfortable before leaving his office. If I could see him for every one of my ailments, I would. My quality of life has improved immensely since my surgery (balloon sinuplasty and nasal polyp removal) because I can finally breathe. Dr. Bergstein is an amazing ENT. I have personally seen him as a patient for 10+ years and he now treats my toddler. I had dealt with chronic sinusitis my entire life. Dr. Bergstein recommend and performed sinus surgery in 2009 and it changed my life. I went from 8-10 infections a year to 2-3. He is caring, personable, and honest about he recommendations for treatment. have access to him and his staff through email and text. I feel very lucky to have Dr Bergstein as my ENT. He has a quality that makes you feel more confident and feel better when you leave his office. I have total confidence in his abilities. He performed a nasal polyp removal surgery on me 2 years ago. I was very apprehensive about the whole procedure. A previous surgery involving anesthesia left me nauseous and weak for a couple of days. Dr Bergstein was very patient, listened to my concerns and made sure this did not occur on his watch. He helped me again after a very frightening fall left me with a broken nose and facial fractures. After telling me I was very lucky, he reassured me that in time all would heal and I’d be ok. I’m on the way to that recovery now. His support and confidence helped me through a difficult time.

Wait time was very long the first visit, but then there was none the second visit. He was clear and answered all of my questions. I am going to have to have surgery, but I feel at ease and trust him even though it is my first time having surgery/under anesthesia. My daughter loves him too and she gets nervous easily.

Dr. Bergstein is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I recently had nose surgery done by him. From the very beginning to the very end (first visit pre-surgery to last visit post surgery), he was thorough, caring and made me feel comfortable the entire time. When I called the office to speak to the nurse with a concern, the nurse did not call back but Dr. Bergstein did. Furthermore, he is the first doctor to ever call me on the weekend to see how I was post-op. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bergstein and his team are amazing!! He has been a godsend to my son who has suffered from chronic nasal congestion since he was born. We’ve been to many doctors and have had several procedures with no success. When we first met Dr. Bergstein he took the time to listen to our concerns and answer all our questions. There are already many well-deserved positive reviews of this top flite doctor, but I’ll try to add my perspective. In my case Dr. Bergstein operated on my badly deviated septum, which had been causing stuffiness to the point I could barely taste food and was having sleep problems. I work in finance and my medical knowledge is extremely limited. Dr. Bergstein patiently explained the problem and the best solution. In conjunction with his great team, Keisha and Jeanine I was prepared for the surgery and he did a great job. I have my sense of smell back and for the first time in years I’m sleeping through the night. What also stood out was his follow up. Every time I went in he ended the consultation by asking me whether I had any questions. I usually did and he always answered them in terms that I could understand. Dr. Bergstein listens first, then discusses with you your problems. Then examines you. He always comes in to the room with a positive attitude. Makes you feel very comfortable. Takes the time to explain the symptoms, and how to treat them. He was spot on with my problem, and it has gotten better each day. Don't hesitate to ask questions, he is so interested in hearing your thoughts. (Can I drink wine with my problem, can i have certain foods in moderation?) By the way my daughter who is 23 swears by him, she referred me to him. her comment was Dad he gave me his cell# in case I ever need to call him at any hour with a problem, need I say more. Review on Dr. Michael Bergstein I was referred to Dr. Michael Bergstein by my doctor and his ENT and Allergy associate Dr. George Pazos. My first and follow-up visit with Dr. Bergstein was nothing less then positive. From the minute he walked through the door, I was quite impressed with his friendliness and mannerisms towards me. For that reason I felt very comfortable and at ease with him treating me. After filling him in on the coughing issues I was experiencing and a quick examination, he diagnosed me with Gastro-esophageal reflux disease. We discussed a treatment plan, foods to avoid and meds to help reduce inflammation. With that said, I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Bergstein for his professional care and concerns towards his new patients. I had a deviated septum corrected by Dr Bergstein. I found him online and decided to see him because of the great reviews. Well the reviews did not even come close to what an excellent doctor he is. Friendly, professional and more caring than I’ve ever experienced from any doctor. He actually called me the day after the surgery to see if I was feeling ok and asked if I had any concerns. I would recommend Dr Bergstein to anyone who is looking for an ENT. From the office to the staff it was such a great experience!!! Everyone was friendly and courteous. Five stars without a doubt.

This is the second issue I've had to consult with Dr. Bergstein for and, as in the past, I find him to be considerate and efficient in diagnosing what my issue is and offering a treatment plan, and ordering meds to counteract my problem. I have no reservations recommending him to anyone who needs a qualified ENT.

We went to Dr. Bergstein after another doctor refused to do surgery on my husband’s nose. Dr. Bergstein examined my husband and determined that my husband did in fact need nose surgery to correct his partially obstructed nasal passage. Dr. Bergstein was very skilled and the surgery went smoothly and quickly, with minimal bleeding and pain. Dr. Bergstein even called my husband at home that night to see how he was doing. He is very caring... It has been a few months since surgery and my husband is so happy with the results. He can finally sleep at night and has since lost around 30 pounds. Dr. Bergstein is amazing for my sinuses. He is the first doctor to culture the infection so he can better treat it with the correct antibiotics. We also took our 7 year old son to him and he was the first to discover his enlarged adenoids and after he removed them our son through the night for the first time ever! Dr. Bergstein performed septal surgery on my son last month. My son was very nervous about the procedure. Dr. Bergstein made him feel so comfortable and was terrific. My son did not have any swelling, black eyes or packing in his nose. He was able to sleep after the procedure and only had minor discomfort. Dr. Bergstein did an awesome job! He followed up after the surgery to make sure my son was okay. He is an excellent surgeon - I would recommend him to anyone.

Terrible. Inaccurate. Unhelpful. Weird bedside manner. His colleagues are excellent. I guess that’s why he’s stuck w the Saturday shift. Avoid.

I suffered with long suffering nasal blockage issues that were seriously affecting my life. Dr. Bergstein diagnosed a long term issue and surgically removed numerous polyps and repairing a broken nose. The results are nothing but life changing. Can't thank the doctor enough. Under Dr. Bergstein's care, my symptoms have improved markedly. I am pleased with the care I have received over the past 6 months. I recommend him to other patients looking for a capable ENT specialist.

The only MD in Westchester who is completely I booked the night before his shift. There is a reason for that. Horrible bedside manor, zero expertise, maybe he really knows how to do a rhinoplasty or something and that explains it but beware. He does a disservice to his excellent colleagues at that practice.

Dr Bergstein is great doctor. He is caring and takes the time to talk with you. He sees you as a person not a number.

Dr. Bergstein is great doctor who knows his business and honest. I am Deaf and he always hire sign language interpreter with him and even in surgery room, too. He has patience with me and have empathy toward me and the surgery was so successful and renew my Life again. Smile I am highly recommend for anyone of you who have problem with septal and turbine enlargement. I can breathe again and sleep good every night after surgery because of him.. Smile Dr. Bergstein, Good work you are....

Dr.Bergstein personifies what a great doctor should be: smart, empathetic, current on treatment methods.

Dr. Bergstein is a skilled and caring human being. He performed surgery on my daughter very recently and all could not have gone nicer. Dr. Bergstein has made this difficult journey that my daughter had endured a lot smoother. He is a good man, a fantastic doctor and I feel very fortunate to have come to ask him for help. I have been a patient of Dr. Bergstein for over 17 years. After getting a misdiagnosis for 4 years from a dermatologist, Dr. Bergstein was the one who diagnosed what another doctor called a cyst to a tumor. Needless to say as a young mom I was overwhelmed with stress after an MRI confirmed. As competent as a doctor, he sent me to the best surgeon in NYC who dealt with this kind of tumor often. All turned out well and healed quickly. I have referred many patients and will continue to recommend.

My 18 year old son recently broke his nose playing baseball. Thank goodness a family member referred us to Dr Bergstein. He was just wonderful. He saw my son on a Wednesday and since time is of the essence in an injury such as this, Dr Bergstein made time in his schedule to perform surgery the following day. He put my son and this nervous Mother at ease. Wonderful bedside manner as well. I can't say enough how pleased we are with Dr Bergstein. My son is a week post op and looks fantastic!
