He is a good doctor but dealing with his incompetent staff overshadows any positive aspects of a visit. Anticipate problems if you choose this practice.

The doctor is amazing, quick and easy. I get Botox on my armpits to prevent sweating. Hyperhidrosis is extremely effective for me. Dr. Tankel is very knowledgeable and that’s very rare to find with dermatologist nowadays. The staff is great too, they are very welcoming as well. Due to the outbreak of Corona Viris here in Brooklyn & NY Dr. Tankel M.D. helped me by removing a large cyst on my left leg. I did not have any medical insurance, needed his services badly. Hospital emergency rooms were not a safe place because of epidemic. I payed cash, and received the services of a great top skin doctor. I can recommend him to anyone in need of an experienced doctor. He was great!

Certainly knew his medicine, treatment always appropriate, but severely inhibited in speaking, either reluctant or incapable.

Office staff pulled the wrong file and when I pointed out that it was not my file she was argumentative. She also referred to me as "mamy". I am an a American adult female not a spanish senora. The Doctor was very nice but always seemed exasperated.
