I was referred after going to Memorial Hermann emergency clinic. I am a 100% disabled veteran who has lost 20lbs in the last month from vomiting and diarrhea. I explained I am covered by the VA but need tests done immediately and if they aren’t in the Veterans Choice I am willing to pay upfront for any tests etc... I need done. After a long wait a supervisor came to the desk with a print out telling me to go to the VA. I asked if she was familiar with the wait and service difference and she said she was. I asked if she knew the wait etc could put my life in jeopardy and she said yes and refused to see me based upon my being a veteran. I have the money to pay in advance but they only cared about my insurance status. This place is not only unprofessional but immoral. They have the discretion to see me and take cash in advance but refused and are willing to let a disabled veteran die waiting to go through the red tape of the VA. Years ago, I went to Dr. Copeland for a Colonoscopy as my paternal grandfather passed away from the disease. Dr. Copeland also treated me for GERD issues. Prior to his retirement, he performed several tests to determine the cause of additional gastro issues, which are still in process. I just wanted to thank Dr. Copeland for his care and knowledge throughout the years. I always felt safe in the hands this truly experienced doctor and surgeon. Dr Copeland is the nicest and most caring doctor. However, his office staff needs some lessons on how to treat patients. I guess I will have to look for another doctor as bad as I hate to because I really like him

Dr. Copeland has always taken time to listen to my symptoms and is understanding, looking through the whole story before making decisions in my care. I have been seeing him since 2007, had numerous procedures with him and he and his staff have always been top notch. I have moved away from the Woodlands area now and am sad to have lost such a wonderful, thoughtful doctor and staff. What you do is noticed guys - Keep up the good work !! He is a most kind and caring physician. Many years ago I was very ill. He was so understanding and compassionate. He helped me work through the illness until I was well. He is a Christian man. It shows!

I scheduled for my 1st colonoscopy with Dr. Copeland because he came highly recommended. My procedure was today and it was much easier than I had anticipated. From scheduling the appointment to my first meeting with the Doctor it exceeded my expectations. The staffs policies & procedures and daily e-mails 7 days before the colonoscopy insured that I understood the process. One of the best doctors supported by efficient staff. Call them, you will be glad you did!
