Dr. Linda M Welniak

Saw Dr. Welniak at urgent care Tosa Health Center today. The meanest doctor I’ve ever seen. I cried in my car after the visit. I’ll be filing a complaint with patient relations.

My daughter met Dr Welniak at the Froedert Urgent Care on Hwy 100 in Wauwatosa. My daughter went in due to initially getting exposed to paint fumes at her apartment complex and then getting Covid. She had contacted her PCP who had told her to go urgent due to shortness of breath on exertion and because she was initially exposed to toxic fumes. My daughter was treated terribly. First of all they made her wait in her car to even check if she could be seen due to her being Covid positive. They finally decided they could see her there. Dr Welniak came in all dressed to the hilt with Covid precautions and proceeded to stare at my daughter and say “You don’t look like you are short of breath”. My daughter felt extremely intimidated by the doctor and wanted to cry. She barely assessed her by listening to her lungs but charting that she did a full assessment. Told her that since vitals fine, all was a sign of Covid so go home and stay there. I am and RN with the organization and was appalled!

I visited Dr Linda Welniak at Froedtert Hospital in Mequone. The reason: increased and painful lymph nodes, no changes of my skin ( no scratches, renewals, scratches). So no symptoms of FUNGUS! Doctor prescribed me a Clotrimazole Cream from fungus and tinea. How painful and increased lymph nodes contacted with fungus. How did she decide that I have this diagnosis? How? Usually people use this cream from nail fungus. I’m so confused, upset and I still feel this torturous pain. And my favorite part of conversation. Doctor asked me about my nationality and she wasn’t happy about my answer. Highly DON’T RECOMMEND to visit this doctor.

I met her at urgent care today 8/7/21. I thought I had a uti. I have been in pain a while. She came in with my results like “that’s not it it came back clean.” She said “I don’t know what could be the problem.” Then she tried to convince me that my kidney pain was actually back pain. I completely gave up on her when she tried to fool me with a prescription for naproxen and said “it’s a very good pain killer” like I was too stupid to know that she’d actually prescribed the Aleive that I literally just declined. She offered aleive. I said “no” then she came back with a script for Naproxen. I already said no. I believe it’s a kidney problem. I’m not taking that. She felt my back. Nothing. No back pain. So I threw her stupid papers away and left in tears because she really did the bare minimum. She was cold and she looked at me like she didn’t believe me. Worst visit of my life. I don’t know why she’s even working. I hope she’s not providing the same useless care for everyone.
