rude and unprofessional, especially nurse Katie. first time I went here they forgot to even do my vivitrol shot and tried to have me leave until I reminded them that they hadn't even done what I was there to do. Dr Campbell is a magnificent doctor, & takes care of his patients well.. my only down grade is, I'm being charged for services that are supposed to be free for patients.. & when I look at my bills from previous months.. I'm being recharged for what I've already paid.. I'd have to blame that on his staff.. or possibly a scam, Dr Campbell isn't aware of.. Dr. Campbell saved my life and was key to helping me get to where I'm at today. I can't thank him enough.

I was treated horribly by Campbell’s nurse practitioner Katie Simon. I spoke to her over the phone for over a year due to COVID and she constantly treated me like everything I said was a lie and constantly condescended me. I relapsed because I ran out of my Suboxone and she refused to call it in and wouldn’t even return my phone calls all over a misunderstanding about where to put in a lab order for a drug screen. If you go here be prepared to be treated horribly. I only spoke to Campbell himself twice but it seems he doesn’t care how his patients are treated. Doctor Campbell is a compassionate doctor who treats his patients with respect and dignity. He started me on a Suboxone program to help me with an opiate addiction. Under his guidance, I am currently tapering off Suboxone in conjunction with therapy and counseling. I see him once a month. His office is easy to work with and also quite accommodating if I need to reschedule an appointment. I've been doing TeleMed appointments over the past several months due to the COVID pandemic, and that has gone smoothly. Prescriptions are sent directly to the pharmacy, making the experience hassle-free. As long as you're honest with him and follow his instructions, he will do his utmost to make sure you are given the best care. No snobby, condescending attitude to be found in his office. I would not send a lost dog to him. He's awful. Just awful. He does not deserve a star, period! It's required though. How nice.

Front desk employee is a rude arrogant prick. The DR and his staff are all quacks. They are all out to take your money and not care for you. I have been told by them that I’m a drug addict. Due to being on anxiety medication. This whole office is a joke. Rundown office, poor service, lack of integrity, lack of patient care. SHOCKED this quack is still in business. Next I will be making a complaint to the state of Michigan medical board

All the positive reviews on here were from when he had different staff that have since moved to their own practice. There has since been a revolving door of College Med Students and Doctors that you see in Dr Campbell's office. One big positive is his newest addition, Katie Simon, does a fantastic job building relationships with patients and connecting with them to treat them accordingly. On the other side of the spectrum, I still have some concerns with the rest of the practice, where it is missing the people like Adam and Margaret, and with some of the environment itself at the office.

Office staff are very rude!! receptionist very rude and demand money, you pay for services, they are very prompt to send your bill and when you call on your bill they verify that you did pay on what’s listed on it then send you another bill and have it listed as something totally different for the same amount. If THEY ( something you did not request ) do a random drug test on you for a prescription refill, they will not tell you that you will be receiving another bill for that on top of what you already paid in the office to see said DR. billing ladies are extremely rude and will argue with you and tell you that you are wrong and make excuses about the bill or the person at the counter. I have had to deal with Dr Campbell once and when I did it was on a page call regarding my son he was very short and rude. He asked if I was a patient of his I said no but you were on call for the page. well the other dr will call you and hung up on me. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Office visit no insurance is $90 and they’re in the room for only 5 min. Random drug test $25 that they don’t tell you about but if you wait for that mystery bill it jumps up to $40 only because they sent you a bill that they never told you about to start with. When I went in I had to pay $ 10 that I owed ( paid ) Then I paid an additional office visit $90 ( paid ) Get the mystery bill You owe $10. Co- pay You owe $40. Drug test I call oh your right you did pay the $10 will will mark that In our system You owe for the drug test $40 Get 2 mystery bill after original call about the charges and they listed the co pay as something totally different. I called and refused payment because of being of falsely being billed. They promptly sent me to collections now I have a collection agency calling 5 times a day every day. I called again today and I was lectured, and yelled over a bill that is wrong on there part. The billing lady then asked would you like to pay over the phone with your card I DONT THINK SO if you f up your billing your not gonna f up my bank account. Avoid this headache don’t go here. 5 stars. Been coming here for 2+ years. It all starts with Margaret at the front desk. She is so wonderful. Always friendly, helpful, and caring. One of the main reasons I come back. Next up is Adam. I was seeing Dr Campbell for almost 2 years when I decided to try a different medication that he doesnt offer called Sublocade, similar to Suboxone but injection. I really wanted to try it out so I found a doctor who did. It wasn't until I saw a different doctor did I appreciate how well I was treated from the receptionist Margaret to the PA Adam to Dr Campbell. They are all very nice and helpful and very responsive when it comes to your needs. I highly recommend them and will be returning when and if they start offering Sublocade. Highly recommend!! I have never been treated with such respect and genuine care from a doctor’s office as I just did at Dr. Campbell’s. I originally had an appointnent with Dr. Detmann and as I pull into the parking lot of her doctors office I get a call from her secretary stating that I missed my appointment and they will not see me!? Not only not see me that day but I was then told I would now be put on thier 6 month waiting list! FYI I was 2 minutes late! My appointment was at 245pm they asked me to be there at 210 to fill out paperwork. I pull into the parking lot at 212pm when I got the call. I even explained to the secretary that I live 50 minutes away and apologized and told her I just pulled and will be walking in the building in less than a minute. Guess what she told me...sorry we cannot see you today you are late. Of course I go into panic mode, I google suboxone doctors and come across Dr. Campbell. I call doctor Campbell’s office and right from hello I was treated great. I explained to them what had just happened and I could tell they genuinely cared. To my surprise they told me to come there right then and they would squeeze me in! The staff is amazing and have never been treated so good. Anyone who is on suboxone knows the feeling of being treated differently because of our bad habits and mistakes in the past but at Dr. Campbell’s office you are not treated any different. The staff are very nice and understanding. In 30 yrs of going to the doctors Dr. Campbell staff is by far the best. They treated me with respect and made me feel like i wasnt just a number. Amy is very nice person who is educated on all aspects of medicine.

Like others have said, Receptionist is wonderful and has your reminder card ready before you walk through the door. Adam is the best PA ever and seems like he really cares. Dr Campbell himself is highly compassionate and understanding. He made my transition into impatient care as comfortable as possible and he's never made me feel subhuman. He knows what he's doing! I dont think he cares about his patents. I feel hes more or less there to collect his check from his own practice. Not once did I feel comfortable and the waiting times were ridiculous.

Best staff ever! Adam is awesome he really cares for you!! So is Dr. Campbell and Margret too they all are GREAT people! The only issue I ever have is pharmacy s all over that are inconsistent .

I've been a patient for over 20 years and have never had a bad experience. Campbell and his staff have always been competent and thorough. I have never had problems getting a quick appointment for emergencies. This office has gotten me through some serious medical problems and has alleviated a lot of suffering. This doctor shows skill and compassion and has a good staff.

Dr Barney has been providing outstanding care for me over the past 8 years.

I have been seeing Dr. Barney for close to 15 years. He's an amazing doc and he actually listens to what you have to say. And then we come up with some kind of solution.

I see Dave Barney PA at this office. I am treated timely, efficiently and have never had a problem with the office following through with follow ups or prescription needs. I have followed Mr. Barney through 4 different locations over the last 10-15 years and am extremely pleased with the care I have received. Regarding the above post of the no show charge, it is better than the last practice where I was a patient. They charged me $50.00. In all fairness to the doc, they loose a lot more than just $25. I'm surprised they were willing to see you after the no show. Regarding the service I had with Dr. Campbell, I didn't have to wait, the doctor diagnosed and treated me and billed my insurance. No complaints. Although I do not like going to the doctor's, I'd go back if needed.

Dr. John Campbell is the most caring doctors of all time! Very trustful and careful. He does a great job explaining things like the medical conditions and listens & answers questions very well with good eye contact and care. Highly recommend Dr. John Campbell!!

Setup an appointment as a first visit to see Doctor; however, did not attend due to pressing business activity that was more important than a routine visit. Called to reschedule for the next week. Everything went fine. Fast forward to today...received a $25 no show charge bill in the mail when I officially was not a patient of the doctor at the date listed on the invoice. This is unacceptable! I'm going to switch doctors because its obviously more about the money than my health.

Do not go to this office. Staff is very rude. The doctors NEVER follow up. The prescription was never send to Meijer for me to pick up. Even though the doctor said that they would call me in a week to follow up for the next step of my treatment they never did. They are very good about sending your bill to your address and having your info but when you call them they can NEVER find you on their system when you are calling about an inquiry.
