I saw Dr Grof as a second opinion to get my FMLA approved at work. I have MS and migraines. According to Dr Grof, I have neither. Thank you for sharing, Dr Grof, after talking to me for about five minutes. My medications I take for my two issues are also wrong. The waiting room was empty when I arrived and empty when I left. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment as instructed and the doctor was late.

I have never in my life received worse care. Not only did he call me a hypochondriac and immature the first 5 minutes I spoke to him. He insisted I don’t have the diagnosis I had and was just making it up, which he later proved to be wrong and didn’t admit it. The medicine I’ve received has many side effects I’m experiencing in which he insist don’t exist even with the hundreds of studies proving him wrong. I’ve been gas lit and put down and degraded by this man. DO NOT GO TO HIM PLEASE

His office manager/nurse is an anti-vaxer. Warned me about getting necessary shots for an infusion medication because they would "give me autism". Dr. Grof's appointments lasted 5-7 minutes. He told me directly that he wasn't going to appeal or pursue an infusion medication denial because it would create more work for his staff, thereby costing him money. He told me directly to my face that I was losing his money. Abysmal behavior.

Unfortunately, specialists are one of the areas where it's not possible to say, "There are too many around town to choose one whose practice has rude, condescending and insulting staff members." That said, there not being as many neurologists as other types of providers would NEVER make me book with or be seen by Dr. Groff or anyone in that office! I called greeted Anna with as much kindness and positive energy as I could muster. I was intentional about ensuring I was kind to her -- just for her to be nasty in return. I provided pointed and direct feedback to Office Manager, Melissa, in the spirit of customer service (since I'd experienced such abhorrent customer service), continuous improvement and my right to do so. You'd think the former two would've made Melissa be a lil' more aware of the response given -- particularly as a member of "leadership" within the practice. Nah! Melissa reminded me that attitude reflects leadership and Anna was jerk to me because that's behavior Melissa models, enables and excuses. What a disgusting shame, especially for healthcare {un}professionals. I'm sure Melissa will play innocent and say I took things the wrong way or some bs like that -- Anna would probably say the same. Lies! They're nasty and their egos are centered, NOT best practices around bedside manners, creating a dynamic of mutual respect and making patients feel welcome and respected. This practice deserves ZERO stars! Do better, Dr. Grof. You're only as good as your people and you have two who need to go!

Absolutely horrible bedside manner. COMPLETELY dismissive. Confirmed a diagnosis for a horrible and progressive condition without ever even looking at me (other than the arm he was testing).

Dr. Groff and his methods have been life changing for me. I highly recommend him.

Great. He is not super warm / personable, but is very knowlegable. I don't need a new friend, I need a good doctor, and that's exactly what he is. He properly diagnosed what other doctors failed to and prescribed a course of treatment. I would definitely recommend.

Twenty years of no answers or help with pain.... Then I met Dr. Grof. He listened to every concern that I had and did the appropriate testing. I have hope for answers for the first time in many many years and I am Truly impressed! God answered my prayers today. 10 stars and beyond for Dr. Grof and his staff. I wish there were more doctors like him!

terrible doctor - does few pricks in 20 minutes then charges $715 ! please do not see this person under any circumstance- I visited to office to get a solution on this high bill but was basically told that what you are charge and you have to pay ! Absolutely a dishonest way of making a living !! This kind of practice should be stopped.

7 months into Covid, the receptionist was not wearing a mask. When the doctor and medical student came into the very small exam room, neither were wearing masks. I asked them to wear masks. The doctor asked whether I was sick and I said, "no, nor do I want to be!". They both ultimately donned masks. He preformed an EMG and nerve study on both feet/legs. There was no explanation as to what was going on during the exam. I will not be returning.

Dr. Grof was referred by integrity, a company that offers independent medical evaluations for insurance companies. My wife saw him for an "IME" in July 2018. Doctors take an oath to do no harm, and while my wife's condition was beyond his "expertise" he made recommendations to her detriment. I am presuming most of the other reviews are fake at best as many other sites have many upset people offering their own reviews. If you have to see him for an IME, just plan on having your needs unmet. When you need to rely on referrals from companies that make money making insurance happy, you get people like "Dr" Grof. Dr Grof spent a good deal of time discussing with me the headaches/migraines I’ve been having for years. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in helping me understand what he believes is happening. We set up a treatment plan and I am hopeful for a reduction in this attacks. I will say Dr Grof and his office seem to be “old school” and do things as such. I saw Dr Grof several years ago and went back to him recently regarding spine issues. He was very understanding and helpful. Ordered new tests to determine the problem and is pursuing treatment for the issue. He explained everything in detail and was open to questions. He was patient and kind.

Dr. Grof is a sorry excuse for a doctor. He did not listen or care about what we had to say. We will never see this man again. Do not sent loved ones to him. terrible experience.

I give one star because it is the minimum you can have. DON'T GO. Bedside manor is horrible. WARNING Do not tell him your medical history, it CAN and WILL be used against you. Extremely pompous, arrogant, narcissistic individual. Lied to my face, and gave misleading medical treatment and advice.

Hes the best. I was at the end of my ropes when I found him!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Said all the doctors I'd been to were incompetent. Boasted he could have fixed me w/ nerve blockers if I had seen him first. He said to my face that I don't have a concussion and assumed that I lazy around all day in front of the tv. Pompous jerk. He's in it for the money, he doesn't care about ANYONE coming in with an IME. If you get forced by your auto ins to go to an IME, GET A LAWYER, protect yourself!

Dr Grof is the best!!! If you are suffering from migraines like I do, Dr. Grof is the Neurologist for you. He also has many other types of specialities

Dr. Grof is extremely knowledgeable and has always been a straight shooter. Initially, was referred to him when I was first diagnosed with MS. He has proven to be an excellent Neurologist and the treatment he prescribed has been externally helpful.

Very Gruff individual. I would not recommend him for anyone. The information provided after my exam was inconsistent and inaccurate.

Dr. Grof put on a good face but then stabbed me in the back at the end! He was unprofessional in his report and bc of his lack of knowledge which he admitted he had, told My insurance I didn't need anymore help! Then lied about my dianosis! He's in it for the money. Never ever go to him!

My Neurologist moved her practice out of state, so I scheduled with Dr. Grof. He spent most of our appointment questioning what the other doctor had put in my chart. It was obvious that he did not care for her, also that he had absolutely no concern for me. Very unprofessional.
