While each doctor may be unique, My Dr. Joel Carroll is Friendly, compassionate communication. He always made me feel a sense of loyalty... I must say, Dr. Joel Carroll important physician traits: Communication. Communication is an important part of any clinical practice... Empathetic. My appointment was for 11:45am. Showed up early as requested. Didn't get into the exam room until after 12pm. Doctor came in about 12:15pm. Not 2 minutes after he came in, his phone rang, he answered it, left the room and didn't come back. I waited 10 minutes before I left and informed the receptionist I was leaving and why and that I would not becoming back. This is unacceptable behavior. I have NEVER had a doctor do this. MY time is just as important as his.

Everyone is great. Couldn't ever have a better doctor. Always takes the time to make sure I understand everything and listen to all I say. The nurse to the receptionist are always helpful and understandings.

It took me a while after Doc left Aurora... But I FOUND MY GREAT DOCTOR! You can run but you can't hide doc... Your the best!!! Check out "Lake Villa, Illinois"

I have been seeing Dr. Carroll since I moved to the area and I could not be happier with my choice! Dr. Carroll is so personable and does not spend the entire appointment checking boxes on a computer screen, he actually talks to me. He is very knowledgeable and is very close to on time to appointments. I find this especially important, as my schedule is pretty packed and I don't have hours to spend in waiting rooms. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Carroll to all, you will not be disappointed!

Dr Carroll has all the qualities of an excellent doctor. I have had a number of doctors in my life, he is the best. His medical knowledge is expressed by his keen diagnosis and proactive strategies for treatment. He is a good listener, easy to talk to, always has time for you and really cares about his patients. I have a friend who has been a patient of Dr Carroll for many years who highly recommended him. Any one who has him as a doctor is very fortunate.
