I have been with Dr Wilson for about 10 years now. My husband was with him too until he passed in 2013 with cancer. I find the staff very friendly and helpful, I like the pleasant camaraderie of the office staff as well as Dr Wilson. Dr Wilson has always been there for me and my family. I like the way he explains answers to my problems. During the pandemic I was able to talk to Dr Wilson on the phone and get prescriptions, etc.

Dr. Wilson is one of the kindest, most compassionate and intelligent doctor's i've had. He is extremely knowledgeable, relatable, and always spends as much time as he needs to help explain things to his patients. It never feels like he's "in a rush" or too busy for people, he takes as long as you need, and answers as many questions as you throw at him. i have been a long time customer of Dr. Wilson. His treatment of my diabetes-type 2 and overall health has improved since I have begun to see him some 15 years ago. He is excellent in his professionalism, manner and approach to all patients. I would be glad to recommend him to a friend or relative of my family.l

I have been going here for over 10 years. Dr. Wilson is amazing as well as he staff.

Just was at this office last week and I've never been treated more horrible. I highly reccomend finding a different Dr. I know I am.

Worst experience ever. First laura the Billing manager is a rude condescending woman. Dina the nurse is sweet as can be. They have a diff rude receptionist every other week. Dr wilson isn't a bad guy but charges and outrageous price if u wanna get on a suboxone program. $150 per each 5 min visit for him to write u a script. He will not accept insurance for this service, only a little less worse than the dealers pushing opiods. Do not waste ur time or money. Worst experience ever. I would give less stars if I could. Having James Wilson as my primary care provider was the worst healthcare experience of my life. The receptionist staff alone is enough for me to never go back- they are the most rude, condescending and inconsiderate group I've ever dealt with. When I needed a prescription refill, Dr. Wilson couldn't return my phone calls for MONTHS, and a receptionist eventually ended up demanding I tell her what medication I needed or she would not authorize a refill- which I'm pretty sure is against the law. I ended up needing my immunization records for graduate school and was essentially yelled at over the phone saying they couldn't possibly have any records of mine since I hadn't been to the office in at least a year (I went to college out of state). Lo and behold they found the records, but didn't send them over without more hassle and no apology. On top of all this, Dr. Wilson is a TERRIBLE physician. I had a hernia that he checked MULTIPLE times and couldn't identify an issue. After years of discomfort due to foolishly trusting my incompetent primary care provider, I got a second opinion who immediately identified the issue and I ended up having surgery. Finally, his office has incredibly long wait times which is odd considering it's turned into a ghost town. Save yourself time, money and frustration and go somewhere else. If you are looking for a competent and caring provider, avoid him and his receptionist's lies at all costs. He is a crook who deceives and takes advantage of vulnerable people looking for help. He charges $150 cash for certain treatments even if you have insurance. At my first (and last) appointment with him, the receptionist's child was running around the office and waiting room as she was eating at the desk while taking my information. First thing she asked me was if I had the $150 cash. I gave her my money and then waited 2 hours in an exam room for Dr. Wilson to come in the room just to not only be told he would not prescribe me the same dosage I was on with my last provider... but that he would ALSO take me off of my medication immediately at a very fast pace. He doesn't even know me and didn't even ask me a single question about me or my disease. He has no knowledge of what he is talking about nor does he care about his patient's mental or physical well being. Only cares about money. Wish there was an option to give zero stars. This practice is soooo comfortable and very up front and eady to work with

Dr Wilson is a great doctor he even takes the time to explain and listen to you our whole family. Been seeing him since he started practicing in the day ????we recommend him to any one he cares .

I’m very familiar with Doctor Wilson and his office staff, first off doctor Wilson only charges $150 cash for Suboxone Therapy and only for that, and if you knew anything you would know that’s pretty cheap compared to the $400 dollars other doctors charge for suboxone therapy (it’s rare to find a doctor that takes insurance for that) I know all this because my son was a patient of his, he went to doctor Wilson for suboxone therapy(for people who don’t know what that means, my son was addicted to heroine, which isn’t a disease. he wasn’t born with it, it’s not genetic, he chose to do drugs) and suboxone is a prescription medication used to help people get off the heroine/opiate they are addicted too, and onto the suboxone. Never waited for two hours, after 5 years of bringing my son there(once he proved he was serious about getting help and could show that in his drug tests doctor Wilson let him switch over to using his insurance) doctor Wilson was able to completely wein him off it, at the pace my son was comfortable with. So he no longer has an opiate addiction and no longer takes suboxone. Doctor Wilson explains things throughly, answers all questions, and doesn’t rush through your appt like most doctors. He has spent longer then 45 or so minutes talking with my son and me. He’s a genuine person who cares about his patients and not about being rich. Doctor Wilson saved my sons life, and mine. ^ everything written in that post is 100% lies. YOU should be ashamed of yourself. And I feel sorry for you because Doctor Wilson would have bent over backwards to ensure you got the help you needed. Oh and that child, his name is Noah and he’s apart of Doctor Wilson’s staff too and you can tell when you’re there, he’s well loved by everyone, and never been an issue when I’ve been there. Dr Wilson is a great doctor! I have a very complicated injury, I’m a T-5 incomplete paraplegic. He’s has gone far and beyond to try and make me comfortable and understand what’s going on in my body (even draws me pictures if I don’t talk dr talk lol) It’s been over 2 years and he still stays on top of any new meds or even exercises to keep me at my best! The nurse is by far the sweetest nurse I’ve ever meet, she’s always smiling and trying to make you smile with her. Office staff is on top of their game too, not never have I heard them say they couldn’t find something or wasn’t willing to help if I needed it. In fact I was prescribed a medication my insurance wouldn’t pay for. But because of their knowledge, they knew that the pharmaceutical company would wave the price and I’d be able to try a possible life changing medication! The whole staff at the office has been professional, great to finally feel at home when your at your doctors!!! I must say I have been there several times for appointments while her little boy has been there. Never once have they not been able to do their job or has the child been obnoxious. To me it’s refreshing seeing the energy and youth but most of all the compassion that Dr Wilson has to not deny someone a job because of a child, instead worked with her! 1 more thing, I’ve never sat there for longer than 20-25 minutes unless it was me gabbing away lol so that 2 hour wait might be a fishing story. He is an exceptional doctor. His staff is much more personal than professional acting. However, they get the job done.

I had stayed at Dr Wilson's office for 5 very long, and dissatisfying years. In those 5 agonizing years.....not once did he listen to my chest. Not once did he listen to my heart. Not once did he check my ears, or throat. Only! With prompting from Dina did they finally do blood work! That was at the end of the 5 years. Anytime I would question my high blood pressure....he would blow it off. Pretty much anything I asked about. I was blown off. His handling of medication refills is unacceptable.

We have been going to Dr Wilson for many years now. He is a very good Doctor. Explains things well.

I would recommend Dr. Wilson to everyone but agree with the previous comment about the front staff. They are very rude, unprofessional and act as if it's their name on the door! Besides that the Dr is great and very compassionate and knowledge is 2nd to none! It's hard to find a great doctor but with an incompetent secretary staff people may pre judge the doctors ability based on their poor performance. He truly is a great man and doctor!

Dr. Wilson is very good at what he does, however with an inadequate front staff and an office manager who is always mean and gruff, this makes a bad overall experience. Also, getting medication called in promptly is a problem and I've had to go the weekend without my medication. Dr. Wilson needs to change his staff to a more friendly energetic group....not those who want to gossip all the time and to go outside and have a smoke all the time and smell like stale cigarettes....Phew!
