Dr. Harvey N Lisgar

My niece was discriminated against in this office. She had major chest pain and was not provided with a medical note for her work. She had to attend college classes and work without a proper note. The woman from this office screamed at her for about 20 minutes schooling her about life and proper medical notes. My niece was mistreated and turned quickly into persona non grata instead of compassion and help. Please be nice to your patients! Do not scream at your patients or at least own it and apologize. Just low standards of care. Mistreatment of people with accents but still in pain and needing help. Also, for some reason my nieces ended up paying from her own pocket $200 because they filed 2 preventative visits within 3 months. Did not warn my niece she will be paying 200 dollars herself. My highly respected doctor of 30 plus years passed away and I was devastated ???? while mentioning this to a friend she had suggested that I call Dr. Lisgar's office. We went here and saw someone else in the office not the doctor, she never address my bothers concern and then started rambling and next thing I knew she wanted him to poop in a bag and send him home, we went it with concern for shoulder /arm problems and if he could use it we would not be in the office. Last week was my first apt with doctor. It was little inconvenience the whole Covid set up in office. You can not enter to the office without calling them first. I think if they had a foot bell it would have been easier. Doctor was nice man. The reason of my apt was getting a referral.

Dr. Harvey Lisgar is the best doctor and person you could ever wish for. He has been my doctor for 38 years and is always there for me and all of my family members who also go to him. Dr Lisgar saved my wife's life. He preformed testing that would normally not be done at her age. The ca125 indicated ovarian cancer which would have gone undetected for years

Often have to wait 45 minutes or more past appointment time. He's always polite but never remembers any details about me or my medical history.

Best doctor! He really gets to know YOU as a person as well as your family. Very homely feeling. Staff are kind and always try their best to help me and my family with whatever we need! I highly recommend this office.
