Dr. Haroldo Edgardo Drachenberg

Doesn't respond to email requests regarding anything. I cannot get refills because he just doesn't respond to the pharmacy fax or to my emails. He's put me on a good course of medication that's helped my anxiety a great deal, if only he'd refill them. It's been over a week and still no refills. I also emailed him about concerns I had regarding one of my medications - I emailed twice in 3 days and got not response at all.

Dr Drachenberg has been an excellent adolescent psychiatry professional, especially dealing with severe anxieties. His knowledge of modern medications regarding mood disorders is very well grounded evidenced by the fact that Dr Drachenberg is one of a few MDs qualified to administer the GeneSight Psychotropic test to guide pharmacological treatment. His practice is limited so early contact is suggested.

I trust and respect Dr. Drachenberg more than anyone else. He’s been my doctor for over 20 years and there will be a problem if he ever retires. He knows his field, has found medical problems my PCP dismissed, and genuinely cares. He’s thorough and spends time with his patients. No, he doesn’t take insurance but paying out of pocket is a small price to pay for his incredible expertise, unhurried time, and my overall health. THANK YOU!

I will never recommend Dr. Drachenberg, and I greatly regret ever seeing him. As a physchiatrist, he should know to give each medication time to work effectively. Over the course that I saw him which was about a year, he put me on 19 different drugs. That is very very negligent behavior and honestly he has no business to be a practicing physician. He tried to have me do ketamine infusions which is ludicrous. Of course I stopped seeing him and now see a great doctor and am on only 1 med.

I have been working successfully with Dr. Drachenberg for 18 years. Mental illness has no cure, but he has helped me live a successful, happy and productive life. He constantly educates himself on new medications and changes to exsisting ones, he is open to using OTC or alternative methods of treatment if appropriate and I can honestly say that he is largely responsibile for my good mental health today. I have recommended him to others and will continue to.

Brilliant doctor who takes the time and trouble to listen. Very understanding and knowledgeable.
