Dr. Elam Safi

I had a very negative experience in the past with Dr. Safi when he was at Mary Lane hospital. He tried telling me that I had a heart condition in my 20's & needed to see a cardiologist, when in fact my heart was in perfectly healthy, excellent condition, but I was having palpitations & symptoms of increased/rapid heart rate at the time, only due to a thyroid condition (overactive). My PCP & even the nurses tried telling me that my thyroid levels were way off, but Dr. Safi continued with saying that they were normal & that I needed a cardiologist instead, because he felt I had heart problems. This type of mistake could be quite risky in the medical profession! I'm glad I decided to seek another opinion & not go back. I wouldn't trust this physician. He makes false assumptions about your health & even incorrectly reads lab results. I speak from experience. I haven't had any heart issues to this day & I'm almost 40 years old, so please don't trust his judgement! Unless he's since gotten more experienced or had more training? Safi is dismissive and irresponsible. He doesn't follow medical guidelines and schedules unnecessary followups, I assume to make up for the patients that leave his practice. I have talked to physicians and nurses at the local hospitals and they all speak poorly of him. I'm not sure about the other one but he's probably an idiot too. Safi is dismissive and irresponsible. Good doctor, worries about making you better. Refers to specialists if needed. Gives scripts as needed for your condition. He won't cater to people who are just drug seeking. Ware lucky to have him.

Dr. Safi always shows concern for my issues. He takes the time to listen to what I have to say and does not send me for unnecessary tests. I'm always given a same day appointment and the wait time is short.

I would highly recommend Dr Safi for physician. He makes you feel comfortable. And he always takes the time to listen. I have moved since and will miss him and his great staff.

I would give them 100 percent. They treat their patients like their family. You will see positive change in your health from your first visit. I strongly recomend dr. Safi and his team.
