Dr. Douglas R Vanderjagt

Seems knowledgeable enough for basic checkups but overall a very difficult person to work with. Does not seem to care much about the patients. Definitely not enough to listen to what is being said. Sentiment is shared with entire family and friends who have dealt with him. Would appreciate if he could step up his game a bit and could be a bit more attentive to his patients when they are speaking.

I am 64 years old and I have been a patient of Dr. Vanderjagt since 2003 and can tell you there is none better. Medical knowledge, personal compassion, willingness to discuss and explain procedures and options and many other attributes that make him not just a good Doctor but a great one. No exaggeration. I have been to many Doctors in my life you won't find a better family practice Doctor. I have lived out of the Lansing area since 2010 and continue to see Dr. Vanderjagt even w/125 mi drive in.

Dr Vanderjagt goes above and beyond! His personal touch is much appreciated!
