Dr. Donna Gail Goodwin

I don’t recommend this therapist to anyone. Hard to believe she’s licensed. I have seen a lot of doctors for therapy, at least a dozen, and this woman is the worst I’ve ever seen. There are so many healthy minded and compassionate doctors out there but Ms. Goodwin isn’t one of them in my opinion. Steer clear for your own good health. Gave one star but that’s more generous than I would like to give.

Donna is a great psychologist. She helped me through one of the most challenging times of my life. She listened, gave great advice, and taught me strategies to understand and deal with my issues. I feel empowered knowing I have tools to help me get through challenges in the future. Her office is comforting and inviting. I always look forward to my sessions because I know I'm on my way to getting healthy. Highly recommend.

Wow, this one is a real piece of work Should not be in the business, don't waste ur time w Dr. Goodwin, she needs more psych work than her patients, I'd give a less than zero if possible.

I would give zero or negative stars if possible. My spouse and I saw Ms. Goodwin several times, and although we don’t agree on much, one thing we could agree on was that she was the worst therapist we’ve ever encountered. She was patronizing, judgement, and very negative. Our first visit she told us that if she sees us in public she’ll pretend like she doesn’t know us. We should’ve seen this as a red flag. We felt she was a terrible listener and offered trite, trivial, and patronizing advice / feedback. I strongly do NOT recommend anyone visit this therapist for any sort of help.

I was hoping to get a psychologist who was supportive and understanding where she could communicate in such a way that lead to solutions and positive growth. Instead my experience was a woman who felt the need to repeat herself negatively 5 Times, didn't offer any solutions besides breaking up, and gave negative overall feedback. I wouldn't recommend this psychologist because she better at being judgemental and negative rather than explain in rationale thoughtful manner.
