Now...in 2021: How thankful I am to Dr. Corenman and his team! I'm back to playing tennis, biking and hiking all without back pain. I can touch my toes from a standing position and my family is amazed! Great work, Dr. Corenman! in 2020: Dr. Corenman is WONDERFUL! He performed a TLIF procedure on me 2 months ago and I feel GREAT! No more pain down my left leg and even though I'm still on BLT restrictions, I feel amazing! The two PAs (Eric and Eric) and nurse Sarah Blandford are all OUTSTANDING at answering any additional questions and assisting with out-of-the-norm issues (ie. being called for jury duty). I got a recommendation to see Donald for a complex situation with a lumbar ADR,. He and his staff were very professional and quickly set up a virtual appointment. After getting several opinions I believe in Dr Corenman's. He was able to explain why I'm having so many problems and offer a solution. Helped my daughter when no one else could with a medical plan. He took his time and devoted attention to help her and all her needs and answered all of our questions. The best of the best. My clients have been going to him for years and they recover from their injuries. If I had any issue with my spine I would, personally, only want him. Medicine is a science and an art - he captures both with great results and the best bed-side-manner.

Dr. Corenman performed my microdiscectomy. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk or perform normal daily activities, and finding a comfortable sleeping position was difficult. After the surgery with Dr. Corenman I was able to resume a normal lifestyle including hiking, skiing, motorcycle riding, and resume work at a somewhat physical job with no limitations. I hope I never have to go through that again but I would definitely put my spine in his hands! Dr. Corenman and his staff are the best. Thank you!

I received info about Dr Corneman from a family member that had surgery with him! After seeing 5 neurosurgeons in Kansas City who would only tell me there is something wrong but we won’t work on a prior fusion patient. I was frustrated. At my wits end. I was going on vacation in Colorado and thought “what the heck, let’s see if he takes my insurance and can see me”? I was able to get in to see him on a Tuesday. His whole team is amazing. From his nurse, to the PA Eric!! Immediately after visiting with his nurse, then Eric for about an hour, then Dr. Corneman came in. He was very thorough in explaining what was the issue and what he thought needed to be done! On Thursday I had a diagnostic test done to make sure we were on the right track , and we were. Here it is the following Monday morning, and I already have surgery scheduled for the end of the month! Dr.Corneman and his team are amazing!! Hands down! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I had a burst fracture in my L1 vertebrae due to a motorcycle crash. After seeing two other doctors from two different hospitals who couldn't fix the issue and told me to never ride again I saw DR. Corenman. He was completely honest and said I can get you back to 100% but I need to go back in and fix you so you can continue to do what you love! I'm 6 months post op and everything is finally healing the right way due to Corenman and his staff at the Steadman Clinic! This review is long over do! Dr. Corenman pretty much saved my life. I had an accident in 1997 with a horse; I fractured my pelvis and had other injuries. After recovery, I had back pain 24 hours a day and couldn't even stand on my feet for more than 10 minutes. Other doctors kept saying that my bones had healed and I just had residual pain and to accept it. IN 2003, I felt I couldn't take the pain anymore and needed to find a solution. I was referred to Dr. Corenman and I made an appointment. Walking through the hallways of his clinic, I realized he treated very famous athletes and expected him to be arrogant (like some doctors) I was pleasantly surprised, he was not just a nice guy, he took the time to listen and he truly cared. I still remember what he said to me once he saw my MRI "My dear child, you must be in such pain." I started to cry, finally someone that understood my pain and cared enough to do something about it. Dr. Corenman and his team of professionals provided such an amazing experience for me. If you are suffering from back or neck pain, I 100% recommend him and his team. My experience: I had been suffering from back pain that dramatically altered my life. When doctors in my area stated there was nothing they could do to help me, I sought another opinion. I had heard good things about the Steadman Clinic, and requested an over the phone consultation with Dr. Corenman. He consulted with me over the phone after reviewing my file to ensure my travels to Vail wouldn't be a waste of time. When at the Clinic I was assessed by a variety of professionals that analyzed my body mechanics to see what was going internally in my back. They also had high tech MRI and x-rays that they analyzed. Dr. Corenman and his team were extremely professional, kind, and thorough with every encounter I had with them. This includes the nurses, x-ray techs, MRI tech, physical therapist and especially his PAs "Eric". They were all so compassionate with my case, allowed me time to ask questions, and thoroughly explained to me what was going on and how they could help me. After such an amazing first experience I decided to have surgery. Dr. Corenman and his team did surgery, and ensured everything was resolved even issues that couldn't be seen. Spends the time to review and explain my spine issues and sent me for an injection with another Dr. from The Steadman Clinic Dr. Evans. My neck returned back to normal with no pain after the injection. I had previously had surgery on my neck and was thankful that he and his team took the time to provide with the best treatment. Dr. Corenman and his entire team was very professional and really cared about getting me back to my best health.

In my opinion, the best doc, PA’s, and nurses I’ve ever met. Dr. Corenman is the most thorough doctor I’ve seen. He and his PA spent a lot of time with me on every visit. If I ever had a question, the nurse, PA, or Dr. Corenman would email or call me back within hours. The entire office, including billing department were wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Corenman and the Steadman Clinic.

I was young 30s with a hereditary degenerative back just making it through life on massive amounts of narcotics and miserable, unable to really live fully. 3 previous spine doctors told me I was too young to do anything about it. Injections only made it worse sending fragments into my nerve roots causeing more pain. I needed a multilevel fusion posterior TLIF. He and his physicians assistants are great with communication, explanation, physical therapy preparation, follow up, and the best part is this August with be 4 years and I'm off every med but an aleve maybe once a month when I overdo it. I'm hiking, kayaking, working full time. I saw him 2 years after and had to hug him. He saved my life. I still sing his praises from the other side of the country. Beware billing department though... It took me 11 months with an 70k bill to be worked out because they forgot to fill out an anesthesia time. If I didn't work in a medical office I would have claimed bankruptcy and had my rods and screws to keep me company under the bridge I would have been living under. Dr. Corenman and his team in Vail were wonderful to me. My neck is fully repaired thanks to the skilled care I received. I was particularly impressed with the ease of communication when I had a question or concern. Someone always got back to me promptly, usually within about 30 minutes. Dr. Corenman spent a great deal of time explaining procedures and options for me, patiently answering all my questions. It was indeed a comfort to be confident in the care I received. I am so thankful for the expert skill that both he and his AMAZING staff have in helping someone with neck or spine issues. Dr. Corenman is a talented, expert, wonderful example of how a surgeon should provide care. His PA, Eric Strauch is as accomplished a clinician as would could hope to find - including and outperforming most physicians. I had an anterior cervical fusion performed. He and his staff explained the procedure, the rationale for doing it, the potential for complications, and set my expectations for every step along the way. All patients should experience this kind of great care every time.

Excellent and very detailed in explaining things. I've never met him personally but discuss my condition with him on his forum. If he lived in my city I would see him in a, heart beat.

I don't recall having ever had a physician take so much interest in explaining my spine issues in a manner I could understand, and also a surgeon who went the extra mile during every diagnostic appointment so that my eventual spine surgery with him would have a very high chance of success. I travel from many states away to see Dr. Corenman, and will continue to do so for follow ups. The staff at his office, as well as the Vail Valley Medical Center and The Steadman Clinic are outstanding.

Doc was excellent for my condition, a motorcycle accident, fracture. He fused two levels and removed a couple of discs. I have more mobility than I had post accident and no pain.
