He seemed like a nice enough doctor, although I only saw him for less than 10 minutes. But the billing experience with Alteon Health, who does his billing has been nothing less than Horrible. They billed the wrong insurance company, and although it was their mistake, it has taken months to correct this issue. Still working on it at this writing. The other issue was a $1,270.00 (!!!!) overcharge, for my 8 minute visit, charging the insurance $1,410.00 when it was supposed to be $140.00. I spoke to him on the phone about it, and he agreed that it was an error, but it was never corrected. I believe it was an honest mistake by someone, but once he was informed of it, I believe it should have been corrected. It was not. I certainly had no power to do it. No wonder our health care system is in such disarray when errors like this happen, and go on for months or forever, uncorrected. This whole thing has been beyond frustrating for my very brief visit with Dr. Workman.
