This was the first time in my life that I have gone to a dentist and completely enjoyed my experience. They took precautions with the current climate which made me feel comfortable in my experience. Agnes the hygienist that worked with me was very informative and explained everything she was doing which I appreciated. Dr. Craig was awesome and super friendly. My husband went here and he liked the doctor and the staff but they do not accept insurance and we had to pay up front and then get reimbursed. It got very expensive. It took a long time to get reimbursed and the checks were always coming to their office instead of to our address. I wish they took insurance.

Our family has been going to Dr. Longenecker for the past several years. We have been very happy with the staff and with the care we have received. Dr. Longenecker was able to walk us through a difficult time when we felt we were getting bad advice from our daughter's orthodontist. We followed his recommendations to use Myobrace instead of traditional orthodontics. Our daughter got to keep the 4 adult teeth the orthodontist wanted to pull and her smile is looking fantastic. Simply the best! These people care about you. Before I found this office, I was anxious everytime I had to go to the dentist No more! All of the staff are top-notch, from the front desk to the exam room, and Dr. Longnecker's beside manner is extremely calming, not to mention he is an excellent dentist.

Hereford dental is by far the best place to go for a pain free, anxiety free dental experience. I use to have terrible anxiety when going to the dentist. The first time i went to Dr. Longenecker in 2010, i knew i had found my dentist that i always wanted. He is very gentle and is the absolute best at giving needles. He takes his time and i never feel them at all. I give him all the credit for ridding me of my anxiety of dental visits. My hygienist Donna is also very gentle and knowledgeable. She has been cleaning my teeth for 41 years. When my previous dentist retired, i ran into her at Wegmans one day and she told me where she was working and that led me to Dr. Longenecker. I am so thankful i ran into her that day! The waiting room is very cozy and relaxing, not like the usual sterile waiting rooms. It's like sitting in a log cabin living room. You are always greeted with a warm greeting and smile from Angela when you arrive for your appointment. She always does a great job at answering any questions you might have about your bill, and even has my claim information sent to my insurance company before i leave the office. I want to also mention Danielle. She is Dr. Longenecker's dental assistant. She always makes you feel relaxed and does a great job also. Cannot say enough good things about Hereford Dental. Everyone is friendly, the appointments are always running on time, and the atmosphere is comfortable. During exams and procedures they are always very attentive to your comfort level. I also bring my 5-year old son here. He’s in a wheelchair and can’t sit in the dental chair, so every time we go they rearrange their whole setup so he can get his cleanings from his wheelchair. So, I can tell you I had pretty bad experiences with most Dentist's I have visited - a least partially due to my teeth being my achilles heel of pain and discomfort, but also always due to the chair-side manner of most Dr's. I have been able to stand pretty much all other pain, but going to a Dentist was a nightmare. Well, Dr. Longenecker has changed all of that for me and I can promise you this is a totally different experience altogether. I wish I had found him years ago! I've always hated going to the dentist until I started going to Dr. Longenecker. My experience with him is quite different than with any other dentist. He is so caring and knowledgeable. Donna, my dental hygienist, makes me feel like I'm coming to visit with a friend. The office is so beautiful.

Dr. Longenecker has been my dentist for several years now and has consistently provided fantastic service. In that time I've needed several fillings as well as a root canal. In each case he took the time to explain what was needed, why it was needed and how he was going to do it. The root canal I had done about a year ago, and while not one of life's great joys, was no where near the horrific experience co-workers told me it would be. Review of Hereford Dental Health I have been using the services of the Hereford Dental Health practice for approximately 17 years. There are some very good reasons for this. 1. Professionalism and Technical ability - Dr. Longenecker has done some significant work on my teeth and the results have been excellent. He thoroughly explains what he is going to do and gives you a “game plan” for the future. In addition, he performs this work taking great care to be sure that you are in no or minimal pain. He takes his time and doesn’t rush through the procedure. The periodontal maintenance (teeth cleaning) done by the hygienists is also done with great care and is very thorough. Donna makes you feel that she is your partner in the care of your teeth. 2. Ethos of the office - from the receptionist on everyone is so very pleasant. It feels like you are visiting good friends. Excellent, as usual. Exceptionally friendly staff and very patient and informative dentist. Dr. Longenecker is incredibly patient in explaining any diagnoses to be sure that you understand and are comfortable with any procedure. He is also not one to over-diagnose, but is also patient in to see how things may resolve on their own or with some more gentle alternatives first. I always trust that I am in good hands.
