Dr. Carol Elizabeth Watkins

Over 5 years ago my family was there for my daughter who was having serious mental health issues. Dr. Watkins was the worst health care provider my family encountered during this difficult time. My daughter required ongoing long term care for years and is still in therapy now. However, she is graduating high school this year at the top of her class and attending college in the fall. She is doing really well. I just want to warn families that this doctor was not on track with my daughter's medication plan. She added meds that were unnecessary. She was abrupt and abrasive. I considered reporting her the Maryland board of physicians and wish I had. She created more family harm and harm to my daughter. After iur family left that practice and found an excellent child psychiatrist and team, my daughter started her road to health. Please make very careful decisions on your own care. I understand that psychiatrists are very hard to find but know that you have a choice.

Horrible doctor. Abrasive, rude, insulting. Accused me, a sixty-three year old woman with a serious chronic disease of being a drug addict (absolutely not) and then of meeting with her so she could help me perpetuate a fraudulent disability claim ( I do have disability but. It for a psychiatric illness so that would be impossible) I was there as I recently moved to area and needed a psychiatrist to manage the anti-depressant and anti-anxiety meds I take. Very weird. Left before end of appt.

Complete inability to relate to clients. No bedside manner. She forgets what you say as soon as you say them. Very rigid and believes she is the expert and any input from you is likely invalid. Truly one of the worst providers ever.
