I called in b/c I wanted something to help w/ poison ivy and she wouldn't fit me in and recommended I go to urgent care. I just thought that was ridiculous b/c an urgent care visit is $125 while an office visit is $5 copay and she couldn't bother to spare 10 mins and save me some money. I went to a dermatologist w/ the $5 copy and he gave me a rx for prednisone and it took less than 10 mins and that was that. Before that, I had just turned 45 and noticed that my eyesight was going downhill. she referred me to an opthamologist who doesn't do routine exams he only handles eye disease cases. I felt stupid calling them but they were kind enough to recommend an ordinary optomotrist. After the exam he couldn't write a rx b/c I didn't need it, only readers. Stuff like that makes her look lazy or maybe she doesn't like me who knows. Anyways, not going to bother her ever again.

Dr.Applegate has been our primary care giver for the past 9 years. She now has her office in Waterford, Ct. She takes a lot of time with both my husband and myself,both seniors both with multiple problems. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking her a wonderful family practice physician..

For a Dr this woman has no bedside manner and was very rude when she spoke to me. Like I was wasting her time. It is so hard to find a good Dr these days.

I called this morning to tell the dr. that I had an earache and was getting ready to fly. They told me that they could get me in at 10:20. I got right in and saw Dr. A. They are so accommodating and friendly at her office. I have been her patient for over 15 years. She is so easy to talk to and if she doesn't have the information needed, she get it and gets right back to you. My whole family goes to her and couldn't be happier with the service.
