Never having been to A Pain Management Dr....All I can say is, I will never go to anyone else. The Dr, and Staff, were Wonderful. And after my procedure, to be told "Thank you for trusting Me" Never, have I been told this. Thank you all!! Rychele

It’s never a good thing to need a pain doctor. However, I would highly recommend Dr Kirby. I’m not one for doctors but him and his awesome staff made me feel like I was part of the practice. He explained everything in detail and went out of his way to treat me as fast as he could. His staff is top notch! They had a way of relaxing you before difficult procedures. Recently saw him and he has a good bedside manner but refused to treat my chronic pain. Would not recommend for pain treatment unless you like shots. Definitely judged me from the time I walked in the place. He also refused to treat my pain because I have my medical marijuana card. That’s part of my pain treatment and he couldn’t understand that! What I'm sharing with you was my experience on my first visit!!! I have been dealing with severe pain for 10 years everywhere in my body. I had issues standing, sitting, waking, raising my arms, my feet, you name it, it hurt. Dr. Kirby said we are going to need a plan. He and his P.A. Kari explained in detail the issues I had. Then he asked me what was hurting me the most, I also want to tell you, I went in there with a walker. I said my lower back. He said I want you to walk out of here without that walker. I was very hesitant!!! After my procedure was the first time I was able to stand up straight in forever. I did walk out without my walker with tears of joy in my eyes. I can't wait to see what else he can do with the rest of my issues. He and his staff are very caring and compassionate. Please give them a try!!!!! staff was nice .dr kirby told me and a quote suck it up bad manners then tryed shaking hand during covid .told me take my meds during the day told him i work around machines and aint getting hurt .why would one pain dr wont allow me drive but kirby did after same treatment ?

An entire year of back pain, have made my rounds to a variety of doctors from Uniontown to Pittsburgh...I have seen Dr. Kirby twice and he is amazing, finally have some relief and can get through my work day managing my pain. He listens, and with his experience is able to personalize your treatment plan! I left last week with chills and tears in my eyes due to the relief I felt from his treatment. Dr. Kirby is an amazing doctor. He was very friendly and funny. He really made me feel at ease. I have dealt with back issues for 15+ years and after my 1st appointment I left there feeling absolutely amazing.

Dr Kirby has a God Complex! I went to see him for help because I was in pain and he treated me like I was a drug addict! He constantly put me down and made me feel worthless! I have to admit I made some mistakes in my pain management but the way I was treated was unacceptable! I’ve never met a doctor who talked to and treated me the way he did!! He promised me that he would help me if I came back in a week and could produce a clean drug screen which I did and he turned me down which I couldn’t understand! He told me to go to a methadone clinic so I decided that was my only option I had! So I called the local one only to find out that I wasn’t a candidate to get into their program! So Dr Kirby totally screwed me over! I don’t want to sound like a druggie who got caught! I’m 61 years old and have been disabled since 2003! Dr. Kirby and his staff are great. I’m an amputee and have never had any doctor have any ideas on how to help my constant phantom pain or procedures that could help. Dr. Kirby is very personable and knowledgeable. I appreciate Dr. Kirby and his staff and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Kirby and his staff are all wonderful. I can never thank them enough for the help I was given and for all the kindness and compassion . I would Definitely recommend this doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Kirby for about a year. I suffer greatly from lower lumbar pain (post-surgeries) and upper thoracic pain due to kyphosis and arthritis. Dr. Kirby has been a Godsend! It took several visits and several different approaches and medications to find the right things to help. My pain caused me to have to retire from a great job I loved, stop doing sports I enjoyed, and I even had to dress differently than I used to. Of course, I felt depressed and I also suffered from sleeplessness because of pain. My whole life changed due to pain! Dr. Kirby did ask about my depression, but never implied my pain was "in my head" as I've read here. People need to be patient and understand that HE WILL TRY TO HELP. I started seeing Dr. Kirby shortly after he opened his own practice. After a horrible experience with another pain mgmt Dr, I asked my neurosurgeon for someone more caring and attentive. My neuro referred me to Dr. Kirby, and I couldn't have been happier. He takes the time to look over test results, takes time to explain treatment (and listen to what previous treatments you've had) and gives options. I've had several procedures with Dr. Kirby and some have helped and some haven't (which I knew to expect based on his honesty). He helped me manage my pain until I decided it was time to get surgery (Sept 2020). I can say with confidence that he tried to help me and took my condition very seriously. I'm very grateful to him and would go back to see him again if needed. Side note: He takes opioid addiction very seriously so I can understand why some people may not like him if they're just looking for pills for pain. He wants to treat the problem and not just mask it with a RX.

Dr. Kirby is knowledgeable, friendly, wonderful, caring. His personality is great, an takes the time to get to know his patients, all the nurses there are also very friendly, an wonderful. I had the same doctor for almost 18 years, then he decided to become an Dr’s Consultant, an no longer seeing patients, so some one recommend him to me, they spoke very highly of him, I was nervous because it was a whole new office an nurses an a doctor I didn’t know, but they all made me feel welcomed an comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Kirby, I may have to drive about an hour an twenty mins to go to his office, but it’s worth the drive. Dr. Kirby is a great doctor, I trust him very much with my care, it’s worth the drive for me, because it’s hard to find a great doctor an staff.

Yes he takes a long time with you but I was treated like a drug addict, that was what I was told, due to being on pain meds for being burned in a fire, having third degree burns over half of my body. He kept asking me to fess up and tell me what they will find in my urine cause it was going to show up anyway, I never took anything I wans't suppose to. I took my meds as prescribed. He tried to put me on methadone like a drug addict. I left that office crying. It takes alot to make me cry and he had me feeling low about myself. I never went back there. His nurse tho was very nice, she dealt with burns and was aware of the pain that comes with being burned alive. I would never recommend someone so arrogant, he walked in and thought drug addict. He is very knowledgeable and he listens to his patients. One of the best doctors I have ever had.

One of the best doctors for pain management I ever had to deal with he took care of me and got rid of 80% of my pain that i had for the past 17 years if it wasn't for him I would probably be 10 feet under thank you doctor Kirby

During my initial appointment Dr. Kirby took the time to listen to me and understood my treatment needs and requests. He is the first doctor in 2 years to listen to me and want all of my records. He is the first doctor to understand the emotional and psychological impact of living with chronic pain. I am honestly blown away by the idea that a doctor was finally willing to listen to me and my diagnoses, and that is a sad statement to reflect my experiences in the last 6 years. As the clinic is brand new it is extremely clean and welcoming. The two additional staff members I came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. After my failed back surgery in 2013 and additional hip issue, I feel like I have hope for the first time in 6 years. At minimum, I have found a place that seems to care about the individual and is genuinely interested in helping. Thumbs UP constant issue gone which I had for six months Had back surgery L4 & L5 fused + cage installed issue started Thinking it was healing process my doctor referred me to Doctor Kirby He diagnosed me on first visit second visit I got two injections left and right Pelvis joints I had improvement right away 4 hours later all concerns of treatment were gone No more Moaning and Groans getting out of chair /bending/walking/etc Today I will call and Thank him

I was a new patient. I missed my appt on Valentine's Day because of all the snow we got so they want to charge me $25 cause "it's their policy"!! Really?!! Couldn't make a 1 time exception??!! Ridiculous! I'll never go there again!!

DR KIRBY IS THE WORST Dr I have met in my 40 years of nursing. He has no compassion, is rude, and thinks everyone is an addict. Therefore he has no empathy for patients. Save yourself the copay and find another pain management facility. What a horrible referral.

Very good but he is leaving the practice. Then when they leave they cannot practice within 10 to 20 miles of where they were practicing. Craziness. I am looking for someone who does ProLo therapy too. These Dr’ s and practices,sell out to these ins companies then they dont like the rules or how they tell them to practice medicine. Dr Kirby is a fantastic dr! Very friendly and has so much compassion for his patients. When I found out he was moving I immediately found out where he was going. I will follow him where ever he goes!

Dr Kirby is by far a TOP RATED "10"DOCTOR. He has BEEN A GREAT Physician when it comes to Compassion FOR his patients, Listening to the PAIN & SUFFERING a patient experiences from 1 visit to the next. He treats you as a PERSON WITH THE UTMOST RESPECT! HE LISTENS, DOES NOT INTERRUPT THE CONVERSATION AND IT IS MY OPINION HE IS THERE TO FIND THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION FOR A PAIN FREE WAY OF LIFE. HE DOCUMENTS ALL YOU SAY, while looking at you as to make sute you afe in Agreement with your Issues. He recommends your frequency of visits based on what is HAPPENING TODAY with regard to your pain now & prior to your past appointment. He will suggest any/or no changes to your medication, seeing another physician, or What you can do to LIVE YOUR LIFE PAIN FREE. I Personally feel, FROM THE MINUTE HE GETS IN THE OFFICE UNTIL HIS DAY IS COMPLETE, HIS PATIENTS (ALL) ARE HIS #1 PRIORITY FOR BEING IN HIS PRACTICE. I have been a patient of Dr Kirby’s for awhile now, and I think he is very thorough with his patients, I’m very satisfied with his care! I’m looking forward to hopefully follow him to his new practice when he opens!!??

I left this office more upset than when I found out I had cancer 8 years ago. I survived but have other chronic illnesses. This doctor told me to check myself into the psych ward. I was gaslit, dismissed, and told I needed to “learn how to cope” with no other options given, no injections or anything. He wouldn’t help me at all. His manner is atrocious and shameful. No compassion or understanding at all of what someone in chronic pain goes through. I have since found a far better practice.

I had suffered with back pain for to many years. After two visits to Dr. Kirby I haven’t felt this good for years. Dr. Kirby has a good sense of humor and spent the right amount of time with me and is not in a hurry. I have recommended him to many friends.

Absolutely horrible group of Dr's. No compassion or respect, they're more interested in power and control and make sure you know it. Also, the desk girls are the same way.

Dr.Kirby has a problem with patients questioning or suggesting alternative treatment . When I told him my PCP wondered why he hadnt done testing or tried other medication to treat my pain he got defensive. He typed in his tablet that i was discontinuing treatment because i disagreed with his treatment plan. I was being treated with Methadone for pain management. I was skeptical about this course of action but per his recommendation started this course of action. I wanted to try something else.

Dr. Kirby listened to my concerns and questions about my condition. When he took the time to listen to me, that was the most important thing for me. He explained the procedures he could perform to assist me with my pain. He did not try to give me pain medications, which was my biggest fear.

The Dr Kirby is great. Not pleased with staff. Husband had back work done on a Friday, and never called in his medicine, so he was in pain all weekend. Called when they opened back up Wednesday, got the run around and still no medicine, because there computers were down,. No empathy from the staff. who waits this long to return a call.

Dr. Kirby was very likable. He explained the test performed on me each step of the way. I understood the results of my test and my future options regarding my condition.
