Annie K Thomas

I have been in Dr Thomas' care for the better part of a decade now. At least 7 or so years. Dr. Thomas spends her time with me and goes over a game plan for each concern. She has fought with insurances for prior authorizations and coverage exceptions. She and her team care about their patients and do all in their power to get you taken care of. I will not see another doctor for my endo needs. And continue to drive from the other side of Houston to see her because no one else has ever helped me the way Dr. Thomas has be it to try a new medication or to provide reading material. But Google needs to be updated. The office has been moved in March 2023. So don't go to the wrong office. But then again, I got so many notices in the mail, via email and text, that it was easy to make sure I was headed to the right place.

Dr. has an agenda, to diagnose as many people with diabetes as possible. I believe she gets a lot of bonuses this way. Misdiagnosed completely then would not even come into the room to give me the diagnosis had her nurse do it

IF YOU HAVE A HISTORY OF THYROID CANCER DONT BOTHER CALLING THIS DR. Once they found out I had TC in the past they said Dr. Thomas doesnt see patients with a history of thyroid cancer" Last I checked that is a thyroid disorder......so be careful...she screens her patients for whatever she feels like is in her best interest.

Photo shows wrong information. Missed my appointment. Next appointment at any endocrinologist 3 months out. Disrespectful, and unapologetic staff. Do not recommend

I have never been more disappointed in a MD and Memorial Hermann. I was a former patient of Dr. Kainth until she randomly decided to quit her practice with NO NOTICE to her patients. I tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Thomas and they said because I had been a patient of Dr. Kainth (who is no longer a practicing physician), she would not see me - no exceptions. I'm sure doctors have written/verbal agreements about not taking each other's patients, but Dr. Kainth is not even practicing. I don't understand and Thomas's office could not give me an explanation. Was not happy with nurses attitude when it came to renewing prescription. Not very kind or compassionate to someone whom no longer had insurance so couldn't come for checkup yet life or death required medicine. Would not renew prescription said I would have to make appointment with primary care physician. Should have been willing to give enough to get by till I could get in with another doctor. Not happy! Great doctor, listens, explains, praises when you have done well managing you A1c. Does not criticize when you did not do well, gives hints/suggestions to get back on track.

She is absolutely great....very kind and fully explains everything on my bloodwork, line by line.

I have been in Dr. Annie's care for years and I don't let any other Endo Dr. treat me as she really listens and cares. She always knows my case and doesn't act like we just met at every visit.

Absolutely hands down the single best doctor I have ever had! I’ve seen her for years for my thyroid issues, but Dr. Thomas cares about the whole person and takes time to check things and discuss things with me in depth; she goes above and beyond. Of course, very skilled but also very kind, very sympathetic.

I can not say enough how good , knowlagbe , and carrying she is !!!! I have been a patient for about 5 years now and will never change

Very sweet, knowledgeable, compassionate, listens and hears patients concerns, she’s the best I recommended her to my son and daughter in law.

If you want a Dr. who is 100% there for you, listening to you, personable, yet extremely professional, then, you WILL have that with Dr. Thomas. She is as above (the stars) to me, a "super star"

I’m glad I was able to see her sooner than what they had scheduled me for . I absolutely love her , very sweet . Explains everything from top to bottom .

Dr. Annie Thomas is not only a great Endocrinologist, she is a great person. She listens to your questions and answers in layman terms. She is very knowledgeable and kind. Great "bedside" manner. Her Nurse is also very nice, as is the rest of her staff. I would highly recommend her.

I can't review a doctor I haven't seen before, but I can give my opinion,the dr and her office does not care or respect their patients. I waited 6 months for office visit, visit was cancelled the day before, her rude office staff said they would call to reschedule, it's a month later and I have yet to hear from this office. I put my health on hold for 6 months for this dr. I would not recommend her.

I made an appointment with this doctor, wait time for my appointment was months..... yes that's right... 6 MONTHS. The day before my appointment they called and cancelled my appointment, I asked if I had to wait another 6 months to get in, the receptionists had no clue how to answer that, she said they would call once the doctor was back in the office, that's hard to believe considering everytime I called the office there was no answer, had to leave a message everytime......

Dr Thomas is wonderful! She is very easy to talk to, listens, gentle, soft spoken and knowledgeable. Her receptionist is not suited for that position however. My husband and I both felt she was rude, but did warm up after awhile.

It was not good. I would not recommend Dr Thomas. I did all the paperwork and emailed it in advance. I was running 10 minutes late and called and told the office. I literally ran from my car into the building and apologized profusely. Her staff was nice, but Dr Thomas told them that I would have to reschedule. I told the staff NO THANKS. It's not like I was a repeat offender because I only saw her one other time in 2012. It was 10 minutes. BAD FORM.

It's says here that she is accepting new patients , but when I called the next so called available appointment is next year in April, so don't waste your time trying to get an appointment with her , the front desk staff is rude and the lady hung up on me in the middle of the conversation. Very rude and arrogant .

My husband is looking for a new Dr. To treat his diabetes. Dr. Thomas was recommended by our cardiologist. We contacted her office and were told the first 'New Patient' opening she had was in January. That is 8 months away. Sure glad she is not the only Dr. around. Maybe I could understand this if the waiting area had been full, but there was only one patient. Waiting.

For the first time in years I feel great, and I give the reason for that to Dr. Thomas. All of my body systems are working great. It has taken a few years to fine tune my medications and supplements to where my blood work is almost perfect. I would highly recommend her to any one with Endocrinol problems. She takes the time to go over blood work and explain each and every test and what it means to my health. She seems to be very caring, I hope she will be available to me for a long time

I waited 4 months for my first appointment, only to be called last minute to reschedule as the Dr was unavailable. I had to check my work schedule, and when I called back I was told Dr. Thomas isn't seeing any new patients despite the fact that I was already scheduled. Pretty crappy way to run a business.
