Stubborn with no bedside manner! As the main Hospitalist at Southhampton Memorial in Franklin, VA you would assume that individual would be thorough if not compassionate. Exactly the opposite! He rushed through an evaluation while heavily medicated, with no family or advocates around. Made a quick decision / plan of care. Once patient & family were notified he refused to speak with them to discuss the decision & factors involved. He simply communicated through the nurses on staff (made them do his dirty work) advsing a decision had been made and there was NO reason to discuss it any further. Knowing it was never discussed at all. I truly hope he never finds himself or family being treated by an individual such as himself!
