Dr. William F O'Brien

I have been taking my family to this dentist for over 10 years now. They have been very good to my family. Keep up the good work!

I went into Dr. O'Brien's office unannounced yesterday morning when they were opening - with no appointment, and I wasn't a patient of his. My jaw was swollen with infection. I didn't ask for any special favors and was willing to wait as long as possible to be worked in. The receptionist,Tonya, an angel of mercy, worked me in almost immediately - on a Monday morning which I'm sure is usually an especially chaotic work day. In less than 30 minutes, I was getting an x-ray then seeing Dr. O'Brien, who is wonderful! He puts a patient at ease and shares information in clear, understandable terms. His nurse, Carrie, is the best, too She called several hours after I got home to check on me and pass on additional helpful information. A tooth extraction was the diagnosis and I had to be referred to another office for that. That became complicated as I made repeated calls from home to set it up. Again, Tonya came to the rescue when I called back to say I couldn't get anywhere making the appointment. Through her help, I now have an appointment this Friday to have my tooth pulled. It means everything to me to have people go above and beyond for me! From beginning to end, these three phenomenal professionals took over my problem and solved everything for me in an amazingly short period of time. I have no doubt that this is how they serve everyone who walks through that office door. I wanted to honor them by sharing my incredible experience at Dr. O'Brien's office. Reviews mean everything to me when I have a new problem to deal with and have to figure out who to get to help me. If that's also the case for you, then I hope this review will be of help. I made an appointment 3 months ago for both my son and self. We have Medicaid but apparently something shows I still have an old insurance on their computer. I triple checked that I no longer had that insurance. (Talking to blue cross and market place, both confirming I don’t have blue cross. The receptionist said unless someone through Medicaid takes it off they will not see me. Well I called Medicaid but it will for sure take several business days for them to get back to me.)Since apparently Medicaid will deny payment. One, I don’t believe this to be true, as I truly have no other insurance. And two why was this brought to my attention at 12:30 pm the day before my appointment. It should have been checked into way before. Clearly they wait to the last min to do things at this practice. She also had attitude with me and talked down to me. Plus the person who usually handles insurance “happens to be out this week.” They said when Medicaid provides the proof I know longer have blue cross I can rebook.. 3 months out again. Excellent dentist and staff !

Rude front desk staff!

The office manager of this dentist office is oh so very rude! She has no customer service skills and should not be answering the phones! I called about a filling that was not done properly at this office! She did not even listen to my concerns! I didn’t even get to explain what tooth it was or what the problem was because she began explaining to me about a missed appt. When I asked if they gave reminder calls she tells me that I am an adult and it is not there job to remind patients of there appts! After some words being exchanged she proceeded to hang up in my face! If you are looking for a professional dentist office that does good work do not waste your time at this dentist office. Great dentist that have been taking care of our family for years. Very friendly staff and helpful. Never had a problem in all the years that we have been going here. The only dentist my kids loved going to and was happy to have Dr. Obrien as their dentist again after moving back to the area.

He is great! They make a great team in my personal opinion

Excellent care. Genuinely feels invested in my oral health. Gave me back a great smile and confidence.

Took my son there for his first dentist appointment. They were patient with him and informative. Loved how quick they were. Everyone was nice, polite and courteous.
