I have been a patient of Dr. Katz's since I moved to the Eastern Shore in 2004. Not only is the experience and knowledge of a doctor important to me, but equally his or her bedside manner. Too many doctors are doctors for the wrong reason. Dr. Katz has given exceptional care, always explaining to detail, and taking time to answer all my questions. He has always been personable, caring and follows through with a phone call on all test results. I also must add comment about Jackie, his assistant whom I have known all these years. Absolutely a "gem" of a lady and perfect office assistant! She has always been very professional, helpful and pleasant. Friends have also had very positive comments and compliments about Dr. Katz and his staff. Kudos to both Dr. Katz and Jackie who have been a great team for my GYN care!!! Terrible! It will be almost two years without seeing a gynecologist because they keep rescheduling my appointment. They have changed my doctor about 4 times already. I called to complain and basically I was dismissed by giving me another appointment. I would definitely would like to go and find another place but in addition to all this, I will have to pay to get my file moved to another practitioner after all their mistakes and poor service. Dr. Katz is awesome! The BEST GYN in the world, hands-down. I had been suffering with excessive bleeding and painful cramping for 8 months (fall 2012-spring 2013) under the care of an aging, incompetent doctor. Finally I went to see Dr. Katz, and he took me seriously, did a thorough exam & scope, found uterine fibroids, and within weeks I was in the hospital getting much needed relief in the form of a robotic hysterectomy. I am feeling so much better now, Dr. Katz gave me my life back! I can't thank him enough. Forget all the quacks, go to Dr. Katz! Dr. Katz is awesome! The BEST GYN in the world, hands-down.
