Very reliable and trustworthy Dr. He cares about his patients. I love him and his wife they were awesome when my sister was sick before she passed. Highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Highsmith since I was in kindergarten and am in my 30's now. He always takes time to sit down facet to face with me and truely listen to my questions and concerns regarding my healthcare. Although I moved away from Sheridan years ago to find better job opportunities and start my own family I still keep him as my PCP and travel from Hot Springs to his office in Sheridan because I 100% trust him. My husband and I moved to Sheridan in August. We were told about Dr. Highsmith. He is wonderful. Justin is fantastic. Dr. Highsmith has a wonderful staff.

Dr. Highsmith is a a doctor that will help you with what you need. He isnt going to sell you something or try to talk you into something to make money like other doctors.

I've only been seeing Dr. Highsmith for a little over a couple months now, the staff were all really friendly and I didn't have to wait long at all. And then when I got in the back, I wasn't even in there but a couple minutes after the nurse left taking my vitals and why I was there. At this time they were already closed and they stayed open so I could be seen. When Dr. Highsmith came in the room, we had a nice conversation and then we got down to why I was there. He treated me with respect and was very understanding as well as very helpful. I would recommend anyone I know to see him. By far the best Doctor in the world and the absolute best clinic. Always super helpful, Very clean, staff is by far the most helpful and nicest group of people that you could ever meet. Dr. Highsmith is the friendliest and most funniest person I've ever met also very caring He does his job very well, He makes sure that you understand everything and if it's something serious he will refer you to the best of the best Specialists for your condition. Everyone in this town knows this office doesn’t answer their phone. Snarky, rude and rush their patients. It’s incredibly sad to watch the good people of Sheridan be recommended to take large farm animal doses of heart dewormer from these deranged people as some sort of political defiance to the FDA. Made an appointment on Sept 17th at 10:03am to come in at 2:00pm on Sept 21st. I get to the window to sign in and am asked my name. I give it to the lady behind the counter. I love Dr Hiighsmith,and so does my family!!!!!my daughter is 15 and has health issues,we have been going to him for a year or close to it...he always makes my daughter laugh or smile!!!! I have to agree with some of these post that at the front desk they need ALOT of work,or to be fired.....they are rude Everytime I go in there or call,I'm sorry if you don't like your job,then DONT WORK THERE!!! They are slow with calling in meds,doing refferals, and making appts with other doctors!!! Winston clinic is faster than they are,but the nurses and Hiighsmith are wonderful!!!! 100% completely satisfied with the entire staff the doctor was very patient with listening to my questions and answered with great detail. He will definitely be my doctor as long as I can have him !

I am a new patient of Dr. Highsmith and he is a wonderful doctor. He cares about his patients and will listen to his patients concerns instead of just rushing you and making you just a number. And the his office staff were incredible too. Since COVID you have to sit in your car until it is your turn, well the day that I was there it was taking a bit to get in and they had someone come out to everyone and offer them something to drink and explained that they had had some emergencies that day and it that it wasn’t normally that long of a wait and it really wasn’t that long to me. I have been a patient of Dr. Highsmith since 2011 and I have no complaints. Dr. Highsmith is a good honest man and a great doctor. I moved at the end of 2015 and I now have a 70 mile round trip to make to see him and it's worth it.

He has been my Doctor since I moved back home to Arkansas in 11-1997. He knows me and my family well. Has a great bedside manner. I recommend him to anyone who needs a great family Doctor.

Absolutely the worst clinic I’ve ever been to with the absolute worst front staff in the world! Accusing me of only wanted pain medications when all I asked for was to x-ray my back to see what is going on since I can barely stand up. I’m having problems with extreme dizziness, double vision and my legs keep falling out from underneath me and I’m falling over. Not to mention I had a migraine for over 7 days last week and all they told me to do was go to the ER because they couldn’t help me and by the time I made it to the ER it had turned in to a serious situation so thank you to the front office staff for accusing me of just wanting pain meds and refusing to see me because they were accusing me of speaking to the doctor and asking him for pain medicine so they wouldn’t even allow me to see the doctor and told me to leave because they refused to see me because they said I just wanted pain medicine. Ounce you get in to see Dr.highsmith, he is a great and wonderful provider. Although, the office staff have a ton of room for improvement. There is a lack of communication in the office, call in meds hardly ever get done without multiple phone calls, and the phone seems to always be angry and when we attempt to medications refilled she tells us that it can not be done (that being a fellow provider I know can be done). I'm just at the first stage just schelued my appointment and the person answering the phone was amazing listened to me was able to get me and my wife in together and very quickly.

J Dr. Highsmith is a wonderful doctor. May I suggest if the guns,deer heads and bibles bother you find another Doctor. This is Arkansas , deer hunting country. Arkansas is also in the bible belt. Dr's offices are for your health not what the doctor believes in. May I suggest a Doctor's office in New York or California.

Doc is an AMAZING dr. He listens to everything you have to say. His staff is amazing. His office is wonderful. He is a great person not only a doctor. Hes a friend and pcp. I think of them as my family.

The Doctors seems alright but the lady’s working in the front desk,they don’t seem friendly every time I go there.

Dr. Highsmith and Misty and Marci are amazing however I'm starting to question the competency of the rest of the staff. As a kidney transplant patient and a person who has seen Dr. Highsmith since I was 12. I'm really contemplating on finding a new PCP that doesn't change appointment times without notifying me personally.

I thought that I was going to be met with professionalism regarding a very serious issue, however I was not. Instead, the phone is taken off the hook as well, so that no calls can be received after 4 when then close at 5. Not professional. And the issue I have been contacting his nursing staff about is VERY serious and it apparently is a joking matter. But hey if you need to Dr shop this may be the man for you. I'll be contacting the Ar Board since I was not taken seriously while making a report. Only have a 1 bc a 0 wasn't an option. They are nice here but you better be ready to sit for 2 to 3 hours and usually hurried through your appt. They are great at getting referrals for you and will call back. Sometimes it's super hard to get through to them though. It's almost easier to drive to the office to make an appt.
