Veena Vanmala Vats

I had an appointment with Dr. Vats many years ago and while there for the ENT ... I told her about a pain I was having and she encourage me to get an Ultra Sound and I did. This led to the discovery of a large spot on one kidney which required surgery to remove. I turned out to be cancerous. I'm so sorry it's taken a while to post my experience. She is a very intuitive and empathic doctor. So far, I am still cancer free. Thank you, Dr. Vats.

Dr. Vats is very caring and took her time to examine my unique medical needs. I believe she truly cares about her patients and I feel blessed to have found her to help me.

Faced with months of low grade fever and sore throats, that most kept attributing to Covid (always negative), I saw Dr. Vats and she quickly diagnosed PFAPA.... what? My tonsils need to come out? OMG. Not easy she said, but she felt this was my issue. I scheduled for the end of January. Dr. Vats was awesome. Attentive, skilled and compassionate. Was my recovery rough... absolutely. That said, 2 weeks of hell gave me relief that I had been looking. Great Doc... Highly recommend her.

Dr. Vats was so amazing. This was my first meeting with her, and I felt an immediate connection with her, the staff, and her medical students. She explained everything she was doing for me, and treated means an adult. I definitely recommend her to anyone needing an ENT specialist.

Dr. Vats removed my tonsils on 1/28/21. She was direct and very honest about this rough adult surgery, yet was very compassionate during recovery. I am happy to report, that yes, recovery was brutal, but I feel much better and best of all - no more sore throat and fever! I would highly recommend Dr. Vats.

I really liked Dr. Vats! She was extremely thorough and attentive actually one of the nicest doctors I have seen. I really wanted to get my daughter seen by her but, unfortunately, she wasn't willing to see her. I don't let that impact my opinion on the care I received when a patient of hers.

Dr Vats was extrodinary!!!! Bedside manner an A+. Super intellengent and explains things so u thoroughly understand.......i wish all doctors were like her. She explains things to u on ur level and not Dr talk that u don't understand.. She gives u choices. She is so easy to understand..I recommend her 100%. Her front-end receptionist has a lot to be desired. Rude cold and has a lot to learn on how to treat and talk to people. Loved loved loved the lady that does all the testing for Dr Vats.

What a great Doctor. Only if most of them were like this. Answered all my questions. Spent an hour with me. Never in a rush. Very easy to talk with and funny. Dedicated to her patients in helping them and making sure they understand her procedure for you. The staff was very helpful and nice. The office was clean and comfortable.

Dr Vatts is the best ENT in the Valley! She’s amazing with her patients and goes above and beyond!!! I had my tonsils removed as an adult this summer and I’m extremely grateful that Dr Vatts is my doctor!!! The new office staff is working nonstop to resolve past issues patients had with prior office staff issues. Dr Vatts and her new team are wonderful!!!

Dr. VATS removed my tonsils after years of strep throat. She did an amazing job and was very upfront about the painful surgery and recovery process. At the appointments she was concerned and she spent a lot of time explaining the process, answering.our questions, and addressing.our concerns. She came to see us before and after the surgery and also answered questions at that time. We were very appreciative of the care and concern she showed throughout our time with her.

The worst bedside manner I have ever seen. She appears very sweet and caring as long as you don't challenge what she says or suggests otherwise or ask questions. Vats has a superiority complex.

Dr. Vats is an EXCELLENT physician. She is very caring and concerned about your situation. She takes her time explaining things to make sure you understand your options. She performed nose surgery for my husband and was great explaining things ahead of time and post op. He had some complications after the surgery and she was able to see him right away. We both think she's great and would highly recommend Dr. Vats for ENT and equilibrium issues.

Dr. Vats is an AMAZING ENT Dr., and Human Being. She takes her time, explains everything down to the smallest detail, she is knowledgeable and is very hands on and involved with the treatment and care of her patients. She is also amiable, completely likeable and has a GREAT personality. I truly feel lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful doctor. Thank You Dr. Vats!

If we could give Dr. Vats 100 stars we would. We were visiting AZ from UT last year family when my daughter had her tonsils hemorrhage on her 12th day. We had been to one hospital and then went to second hospital in hopes to find a ENT Dr. There is a shortage of ENT's in the area. Had Dr. Vats not showed up, I don't think my daughter would have survived. Dr. Vats showed up at a crucial time and saved my daughter's life. She is an extraordinary doctor and knows what she is doing. Highly recommend

I would definitely refer friends and family to Dr. Vats. She has a calming and sweet disposition which reflects in her manner toward her patients. I am 53 and had white spots in and on my tonsils. I knew I needed to have them removed as they were bothering me every couple of weeks lately. A week after using the last of my antibiotic prescribed by my primary Dr. I had another sore throat. Dr. Vats told me and my hubby separately how long it would take to recover. She was absolutely right.

I went to Dr. Vats for a serious nose bleed problem. My nose would bleed spontaneously 4-5 times per day regardless of the weather or humidity. She refused to cauterize my nose and prescribed an ointment. So for the last 4 years I have applied ointment every few weeks when the nosebleeds would return. Yesterday I went to another ENT and he cauterized my nose on the spot. Because of the severity of the sore it will take several visits to complete the treatment by my new doctor.

Arrived, handed in paperwork and told to sit down. After waiting more than an hour, was told that my appointment was not for today, and they marked me for a no show. Front office staff rude and condescending about the whole ordeal. They messed up an appointment, and claimed that they NEVER make mistakes (literally verbatim said they never make mistakes) and that it was my fault and that I'd have to wait another 2 months for another appointment, when I already waited 3 months for this appointment

This doctor was not treat for the patient properly. She was talking on the phone with her friend while checking my ears, did not listen to me when I tried to explain the problems. As the results she had found nothing wrong with my ears then sent me home with the same problems. I had to pay her hundreds of dollars for nothing. SAD!!!

I lost 50% hearing and was experiencing tinnitus (constant ringing in my ear) which prevented me from sleeping and functioning. She painlessly removed the ear wax on my ear drum in an efficient manner. She was very personable and intelligent.

Dr. Vats is great and so is the office staff. I would highly recommend her.

Regretfully I am writing this poor experience, but the positive point is that no one should go through the mental behavior of this poor excuse of a doctor. This person bedside manner had mix messages. Her examination of my ear was not appropriate. She did not use gloves, the item to view in my ear had wax on the item, she did not take care to remove wax before putting the item in my other ear, I had to request she do so. Her rudeness was not necessary and sh had no patience.
