I recently moved to Raton and need a dentist. Yesterday afternoon I called Dr. Wilson's office and this is how it went. The woman who answered listened as I told her I had a tooth that was hurting and that I would be a new patient. She said Dr. Wilson was taking new patients and to call back on Monday for an appointment. It was Thursday before the 4th of July, so I knew it would be hard to get in quickly even with a tooth that was hurting. I asked about having my dental records sent and she told me I had to do that myself. Okay. She asked if I had insurance and I told her my insurance was GEHA. She said that they didn't accept that insurance. I said that I hadn't checked yet with GEHA, but that Dr. Wilson could become a provider. "He wouldn't" was her reply. They got my kids in fast and were all very friendly. My kids felt completely comfortable with everything they were doing because they explained it all as they went. I will not take them anywhere else we have found our family dentist.
