Dr. Douglas Craig Smith

Not a bad doctor, but not a good one.

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for 15 years ,,, always attentive , doesn't sugar coat what needs to be done, told me 12 years ago to loose weight or suffer later ,, took his advise and have never felt better. Always professional , makes going to the Doctor a little bit easier.

I found Dr. Smith by chance 22 years ago, and he has been my primary-care physician ever since. I have come to trust him implicitly with my medical care and that of my wife and 2 kids. Now if you're looking for a doctor that will prescribe antibiotics just because you have the sniffles, he may not be your kind of doctor. On the other hand, if you want a doctor that will take the time to figure out the problem and treat it appropriately, I would highly recommend him. Office staff is wonderful too

Doug is not sunshine and kittens all the time which is what I look for in a Doctor. The worst is when you feel you left an office with a diagnosis that is more of a guess than anything. Doug makes sure you are taken care of even if that is tough love.

I think that Dr. Smith is one of a kind. I had several in Mesquite and finally after moving to Garland, closer to Plano it had me search for a new doctor. He was the first one I visited and I did not need to look any further! His wife is a doll and they make a great team!
