Dr. Troy G New JR.

I did a lot of soul searching before writing this review. I started seeing Dr. New over six years ago and instantly new he would be my Ob/gyn for life. He was so kind, thorough and I trusted him with my care. He saw me through some tough times and was always reasonable and very caring. The best part, aside from him, was that I loved his MA as well. Along with that, the experience from the front office to back office staff was absolutely amazing. They were/are the most efficient office and patient-centered group of employees. They answered calls, answered your questions anytime, and I always had the best experience. Things took a horrible turn this year when I went for my annual exam expecting the same experience and his new medical assistant treated me horribly. I am not one to wear my heart on my sleeve, but I am going through a horrible family illness so I needed kindness but she had me in tears from her condescending comments from the beginning. For instance, when I asked to empty my bladder before my appt, she rolled her eyes and said, “ok then go to exam room x.” I didn’t think much of it because life is not easy for anyone right now. I’m not always happy to be at work myself. Then Dr. New came in and was outright rude to me. His exam was very brief and we didn’t talk like usual. I always like to hear about his kids in college and family and I always share about my family. As I said, it’s usually as best as an annual women exam can be. Never fun, but we always had great respect for one another and he was kind. This time, I was in tears as I left. Then when I accidentally walked out another way because I couldn’t believe my experience and got confused, I overheard the MA talking about me very rudely to another employee. I was so humiliated. As hard as this is, I do not recommend Dr. New based on my experience. His new MA seemed like a miserable person and she very dismissive and mean. I am very disappointed and it is with much sadness that I highly regret I had to write this but I wouldn’t want anyone else to feel like I did.

Both myself and my husband LOVE Dr. New. He’s is professional, kinda, and listens to our concerns. He is also extremely respectful of our wants. He always looks for the best interests of me and my baby. We had a fantastic delivery of our first child. Looking forward to see Dr. new for many years to come. He always has an AMAZING staff - they are kind and professional and always willing to listen!

Huge fans of Dr. New. My wife feels extremely comfortable with him and he is a very calming presence in the delivery room. On top of every little thing in appointments, and cares more about the patient and outcomes than anything else.

I believe I was one of his first patients when he joined this practice MANY years ago. He has performed 2 endometriosis surgeries on me. I couldn’t be happier with his bedside manner as he always takes the time to make me feel comfortable, heard and valued. Sometimes, OB/GYNS have no patience for woman who cannot have children and make you feel “less than”. Not Dr. New. When I see him, I feel like I’m catching up with a trusted friend. He’s a great guy. He delivered my second son and I trust him. The only “negative” is that he is much more laid back than I am in regards to tests. He was very accommodating when I voiced that I wanted a Level 2 ultrasound, NIPT, etc and didn’t debate me on necessity- but if I hadn’t known exactly what to ask for I wouldn’t have known all of my options. I’d definitely have another child with him if I was going to do so. He’s a great doctor. He’s a great guy. He delivered my second son and I trust him. Tried to make my first appointment with Dr. New referred by a friend. Took the day off from work for it. The lady taking the appointment was rude. The day of my appointment they canceled. Tried to make another appointment and the lady at first was trying to give me a close date. Then transferred me to someone who said that day is booked. You need to come in at a different day. Taking off another day from work. I mentioned I didn't have another day. Very rude lady decided to not reschedule anything with the rude front office staff. Who knows maybe the doctor is great the office staff not so much.

Dr.New is amazing! He has a team of wonderfully talented women and he is literally the best there is. Love him.

An amazing doctor!! I cannot say enough great things about him. He spends quality time with his patients and is great at making you feel at ease!

I've gone to Dr. New for over 10 years. He has excellent bedside manner and answers my questions without rushing me through the appointment. He's consistent, friendly and professional. The staff is also welcoming.

Wonderful doctor, always takes the time to explain things and has a great bedside manner. Super efficient and never late for appointments. When I had my c-section I found out that all the nurses at the hospital think he's great, too, and that always says a lot.

He may be a great guy personality wise but at the cost of my unborn babys life? Hes too busy to take time and diagnose what you tell him you have (because he knows your body better than you) and even with the labs right infront of him. Oh well. Glad I moved on and got my second opinion and new provider (midwives) it's sad that midwives do a better job than some highly respected ob gyns! So thankful I found Dr. New! From the moment you enter the practice, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Dr. New listens, educates and provides customized care. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes omg he waiting room and his medical assistants stay on top of returning phone calls. After a difficult first pregnancy, I switched to Dr. New. He kept a close watch during my second pregnancy for any issues and it was reassuring to know that I could count on him and his team.

Amazing Doctor! Best care and best customer service from Dr. New & his staff. He is attentive and respectful. You are his priority when he is in the consult. They are prompt and value your time.

DR. New is truly the best of the best. He treats each appointment like it is important, I never feel rushed and rarely have to wait. He feels more like a family friend. He has delivered our two sons and I am so grateful for his care.

I've been a patient of Dr. New's for close to 10 years now. He's been my OB for all three of my children. He is by far the best doctor I've ever had! He takes the time to listen to your concerns and to answer what questions you have in detail. He's not walking out of the room while answering you either. He makes sure you're at ease before you leave his office. I refer everyone I can to him and they all have had the same wonderful experience. Dr. New is the absolute best OBGYN out there. He makes every patient feel comfortable and is very thorough when explained my things to you. I highly recommend him. I will never go to anyone else!

Dr. New was highly recommended to me by a woman who was pregnant with twins at the time I was looking for an obgyn. My husband and I were very pleased with Dr. New, his nurses, and his staff. They accommodated our commute and scheduleby giving me the last appointment of the day, and I was seen promptly after I arrived. I like that he did a sonogram every appointment and how reassuring and positive he was in regard to our questions. He was very gentle when checking my dilation (unlike my nurses)!

Love Dr. New. Easy to talk to. I have been going to him for ~ 15 years.

Love Dr. New! He did my hysterectomy and he found an inherited blood clotting factor that I have that took my Mom from me 3 years ago. He is very thorough in his patient's and their family history. He is very kind and soft spoken and I won't go anywhere else.
