Dr. Faryal Abdul Ghaffar

We have been seeing Dr Ghaffar for the past 17 years and I cannot recommend her enough, she is smart, efficient and listens to her patients parents. Any concerns that you may have as a parent regarding your children's health and she is right there for you, ready to answer any questions. I absolutely Love her as my children's pediatrician!

No chance to see the doctor. Wait 30minutes on the phone to make appointment. No one answers then hang up

Dr. Ghaffer continues to amaze me and my family by taking care of our children’s health. She has been my 2 kids doctor since they were born. My 17 and 11 year old boys adores her because that the only doctor they have known since they were born. She is very motherly and knowledgeable. My boys especially my youngest feels more confident with her because she knows how to handle his medical issues which is a lot. She is very respectful, humble and very honest. I remember when I had my 1st born 17 years ago she came to see me before we were discharged to go home from Baylor hospital. As a new mom I didn’t know what to do or expect but she made my life easier by sharing her pediatric knowledge and being very patient with my son as he had a lot of health issues and in and out of her office. Dr. Ghaffar is awesome. She is direct, to the point and professional while looking at all aspects of the patient's health. We've been going to her for 15 years and I'm at a loss as to what to do once my nephew turns 18 - thank goodness we won't have to worry about that for a few years! Among the things I appreciate most is the fact that SHE calls to give test results/check up on the patient/ask additional questions....I think I've only had one other doctor do that in my lifetime!!!

My Son has seen Dr. Ghaffar for 13 years and we love her and her staff. They are quick to respond and take good care of your kids. The sweet receptionist has been there 18 years. Thank you Dr. Ghaffar for all you do :)

It was a greet experience with doctor Faryal she was so nice and the people there are so friendly and helpful ????

During the pandemic I had to switch doctors due to distance. When restrictions started to get lifted 6/2021 I had called back in to see if my kids could be seen again. I was told because it had been over a year and my kids records were transferred to another doctor that her panel was closed and would open January of 2022. I recently called back March of 2022 to get my 17 month old seen since she had seen him from birth except for that year during the pandemic. Her staff told me they were accepting new patients, however once they realized he was a previous patient they again told me sorry but the panel is closed. How does that make sense? I explained the only reason we had to switch during the pandemic was due to distance and car situation, and that I did not want to switch at all. Dr. Ghaffar is a great doctor, however after the phone call today it seems that the excuse of “the panel is closed” is due to her just not wanting to take my kiddo back. You are accepting new patients but won’t take back old patients? Makes no sense, giving a one star for her front office staff and for the fact she couldn’t call me herself. It also took a week for them to give me an answer, two thumbs down. I would of recommended her to anyone now I won’t. Don’t leave ever leave otherwise she won’t ever see your kids again! Dr Ghaffar is the best doctor ever. She is great. But I wish I could say the same about the people in the front desk. You have to call over 10 times in order for them to actually pick up. I have been with her for over 15 years and I just love them. Her office staff are very nice respectful and I wouldn't trade them in for anyone. Never have long wait times and I can get same day appointment. If I call and leave a message they will call right back...

At first I was going to Cooks and I wasn't really liking the way they would recommend to send my child to Cooks hospital for every little thing so my Aunt recommend coming here and I really liked it she is great and straightforward with information i am going to bring all my children here and recommend her to my family and friends

Have been pleased with the doctors care of my children. Have had issues with clerical and administrative issues from receptionist and was even more pleased with how Dr. Ghaffar corrected the issue and personally contacted me to resolve it. Would highly recommend her to anyone.

We have been taking our elder 10 yrs old son to Dr. Faryal Ghaffar since he was 5 and the younger 2 yrs old son since his birth. Dr. Ghaffar has been wonderful, friendly and she listens and understands the problems that we explain to her. She explains everything in detail. All staff working in her office are awesome as well. Dr Ghaffar has been our pediatrician for 8.5 years. Between my 2 kids, they have issues with surgeries, anxiety, asthma, sensory integration disorder, kidney problems, and more. I cannot say enough about Dr. Ghaffar and her practice. She is very accessible, always returns calls quickly. Always able to get us in for a sick appointment same day. Dr. Ghaffar has been a great advocate for my kids to see a specialist and will call to get us in quickly. She is a trusted resource! We love her!
