Dr. Currie is always very friendly. He asks questions and seems to really want to help his patients with proper treatment. I have only good things to say about him,as well as the office staff. Michelle H. Hodge

He wasn’t just a sports medicine doctor until after he discharged me from the entire OUR LADY OF THE LAKE PHYSICIANS group. I was recommended to see an orthopedic physician by my oncologist and my G.I. doctor after seeing my scans. While scheduling my appointment with a different physician I was told by Dr TRAVIS CURRIES Receptionist that I needed to see Dr Travis Currie, because he was a spine specialist ! I was Informed to bring all X-rays, MRI’s, CTs & records to my appt. Also it was made with the understanding that someone had to meet me outside w/wheelchair due to severe feet, weight,cervical, thoracic & a lower lumbar health issues I needed medical treatment on. The answering service tried reaching his office for 30 min but, no one answered. At appt time they phoned me and said too bad they were too busy. I had to sit down a few times due to a lot of pain. Finally he comes in with a hot shot attitude He literally took maybe 2 minutes to look at my records I had my cd’s with full body scans, and records that took me weeks of filling out forms to give him the complete picture of my health. This orthopedic doctor had absolutely no clue how to read an MRI and see exactly what kind of issues and how much pain I was in without consulting a neurologist He said. when other doctors saw my records knew & gave recommendation that I definitely needed help. I called to make an appointment with a different doctor& ended up with him .He said well I can’t do a thing for you unless I see a nerve pinching, when he said wasn’t even qualified to diagnose nerve condition and referred me to get nerve tests done by a different doctor. So what you been in pain this long a few more weeks is not gonna hurt you. When I was already at my wits end. When I have been having a referral for someone to help me with my severely messed up spine. EXACT WORDS WAS I don’t treat people out like you. I was at MYend of waiting& dealing with continued radiating pain from T5 through 8 CYSTIC Dilation from the nerve roots in my upper thoracic with spondylolisthesis in the thoracic and L5 S1 bilateral L5 pars interarticularis defects with grade 1 anterolisthes of L5 disc Space narrowing and Disc desiccation with irregularity of opposing end plates, bilateral fora I also stenosis with impingement on the bilateral existing L5 nerve roots Again chronic bilateral Spohn centesis at L5 with a grade 1 to 2 Anterolisthesis Of L 5 DUH DID YOU NOT SEE DR CURRIE ANY OF THIS ... ESPECIALLY WHERE It says impingement on the bilateral L5 nerve roots? No Because he did not look at Or take the time to study becauseI felt like u care less & his words were I don’t fix people Like you or people I see them & then I send them to doctors who can fix them that’s just the kind of doctor I am, that’s who I am and want to be. I felt like he probably cheated in class & didn’t learn a thing or you should’t have a license. Finally saying oh yeah would you like a wheelchair to get you out of here & left. After 30 minutes I got downstairs a lady grabbed a wheel chair I’m guessing she saw the pain I was in the lady or nurse said don’t go emergency room because they probably wont treat you there. I went to the emergency room saw a spine Doctor says you are definitely need to be treated & I am going to treat you. She prescribed meds and reffed a neurosurgeon.She took the time to read my records she agreed that I needed help. So if you play football and you want to go see a Doctor Who can send you to somebody else to treat you then he’s the guy for you if you really need medical help then stay away from DR CURRIE. I think Dr. Currie's great... He's current on and uses up-to-date treatment options. It's relatively easy to get an acute apt., ie for an injection. He actually listens to me, before diagnosing. I've seen him since 2016'ish and haven't had any issues with treatment.

I saw Dr. Currie in 2017. He was very thorough and friendly. He answered all of my questions.
